My breaks were sticking on the front passenger side an I bleeded the valve an it releases so that in all says to replace the flex line , so I replaced the flex line an it's still having the same issue I can still bleed the valve an it will release but a few times breaking down the road it will start grabbing again, what is the issue now, help ???

5. have you ever used the bleeders that have a check ball in them so you can bleed them with only one person.

6. Maybe to close the brake line w/cup on that side w/broken bleed valve, change it for a new one prior to bleeding, if you have a spare valve of course, or not in a hurry to order the one? Thank you very much for the informative film, so many techniques are shown. Seems like every time I watch it I discover something new.

11. I've watched thousands of car repair videos. I've come to the conclusion that Eric the Car Guy and Eric from South Main Auto Repair are the best mechanics in YouTube. There are many other good mechanics but the Two Erics are the very best in my humble opinion.

13. Okay, well 3 hours later after my last message and my world has become a lot more interesting. My reservoir only has a MINIMUM line, no Max line. It's not scraped off or under dirt, it was simply never there. Then when I heard the words "keep it topped off" I figured there is no maximum level,. So what did I do, I took everybody at their literal word and followed the instruction from those who know best. Well, what happened next when I started her up reversed a few feet, pumped on the brakes, drove forward and turned off the engine. What I saw next disgusted me, brake fluid dripping all over the place right up inside where the full 30-gallon gas tank is, sandwiched in between the chassis and the tank is where this is leaking from. So now I have to try and remove a six-foot-long gas tank that has been attached since 1999. Its a 99 chevy 3500 box truck. I may even have to cut through the wood floor to get to the hose connections on top of the tank before I'm ready to drop the tank. Should be a ton of fun! So all I want to say is that in situations like this where such a possibility may occur due to miscommunication., it is very critically important to use an appropriate exact word to describe what is actually meant.

17. Since you are now aware the bleeder screw is defective how about replacing it on both sides to a 10 MM or 3/8, that's what I would have done.

22. So I'm looking to paint my calipers while I have the hoses off, I know it's superficial, but I think OEM calipers are ugly without paint (shiny wheel, shiny rotor, discolored caliper). Is there any kind of cap I can put on the line to buy me some time to sand/spray or am I better off painting calipers with everything attached and taped off?

24. Hi,
    I would say that using this method you cannot get all they air out of the system as when you let air into the system it can travel anywhere within the line and you will need to do a full bleeding following the correct sequence specified by the manufacturer for your vehicle. Generally speaking you need to bleed the caliper which is the furthest away from your master cylinder first. Please correct me if am wrong. Also is this a front/rear split break system or diagonal? 26. Hey my brake pedal is spongy and sinks in, so planning to change the hose and do brake bleed. My question is, should I do brake bleed first before changing the hoses or it's the other way around? Thanks for your help!

28. I never use my brake line tools, vice grips or a pipe wrench if needed. sorry guy.

29. Why will my brake line not screw into the hose? I bought a new one and I can get it started by hand, then when I tighten it with a wrench it snaps loose again. It's like the threads are not catching. The tightest I can get it before it comes loose still leaks.

32. Thank you for the post. The rear passenger line blew and my wife made it home safely. I replaced all four, bled then. The fluid has been replaced, the brakes feel great! And I got more for my money. 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan 100k miles.

34. Are you allowed to get air in the brake system by installing these, then after all is installed , bleed and flush to where all air will be taken out?

35. so when you take off the brake hoses , are you introducing air into the brake system? It's just that you don't care because you will later bleed and flush it afterwards?

40. Thank you for this video as I'm about to change my OEM to SS braided. I do have a question about bleeding the brakes when I change the lines. Do I change all the lines first than bleed the calipers or do I bleed each line as I replace them from farthest rear to closest front?

43. My brake hose is bulged after I reinstall a new brake caliper. Do I need a new brake hose or should I just simply take it off and unclog the hose? It's the hose that goes into the caliper. The bulge is at the end of the hose meeting the brake line.

44. Can I do one side and bleed that side, then do the other side and bleed that side?
