  1. Not all smartphones are made in China and even if iphone is assembled in China, its parts are from different manufacturers around the globe. besides, iphones are only manufactured in China because of the low labor cost NOT because Chinese manufacturing is good. This huwawei phone on the other hand is not just made in China but is almost 100% China. Let's accept it, China is well known in creating sub-standard products.

  2. The only thing I dont like about samsung is that they go to china to assemble the phone on the assembly line.. Thats why theyre being cloned

  3. And this is why we need to draw the line between what is considered a smartphone and what is not. This is obviously a tablet with phone capabilities and there is no way I could comfortably hold this phone to my ear. Bluetooth will be your only option. It does look nice though.

  4. Samsung is a South Korean company, yes- but there is no way the parts where made in South Korea- My friend has the Note 2 (good choice of phone by the way- thinking of getting the Nexus 4 myself made by LG) they are made in Indonesia amongst other places, so I doubt the Nexus by Samsung is as South Korean as you think it is.

  5. I remember when everyone wanted the smallest phone possible, now everyone wants the largest phone.

  6. This is gonna be my last phone / tablet. I was thinking about getting the Samsung note 1 for my last phone / tablet but never mind the Huawei Ascend Mate got a 6.1 inch and a bigger battery.

  7. This is really an overkill…what's with these huge phones lately. I always refrained myself from note and note 2 because I thought they were ridiculously huge. Anything between 4-4.5" is a sweet spot IMO. Not to small to used with two hands at the same time not to big so that you can use it with one hand two when your other hand is busy holding something.

  8. Love it. I have the Note.. I was going to buy the Note 2.. But now.. I'll just wait for this, and hope vodafone or Orange will bring it to Spain

  9. Also, I love how Huawei is showcasing a phone in Las Vegas that probably will never make it over to the states. Really stupid.

  10. Lol, that's ridiculous. Seems like all they're trying to do here is say, "hey Samsung, we're better than you! See, we made an even BIGGER phone!"
