  1. Next thing to go is the back button, which may or may not appears on the top left corner of an app. Even better, you can try swiping from left edge to the right, again it may or may not works. Then the recent button will disappear as well, we are all using gestures now, just swipe from the bottom upwards, just like Blackberry OS…

  2. I hate that new small hard to use slide up bar arrow they seem to have gone with. Just like i hate the pc web browsers with no basic menu. It must be a law for software to get stupider and stupider.

  3. I am a fan of the app drawer. if I wanted a my phone to "look" like Apple's non app drawer (gag, gag, choke, choke), I'd buy an iPhone (THAT will never happen). I support Android phones for their ease of use and clean screens. Hiding the freaking app icons is an Android plus. Google and phone manufacturers need to remember why Android OS became Apple's nemesis. Keep the app drawer. Customization is an Android owners' right.

  4. Am i the only one who thinks that app drawer is not necessary for the whole user experience? i mean you can use the other screen for all the apps which you can organize yourself and keep the main home screen clean, but its just me

but as i always heard, users are basically stupid, so you have to organize everything for them

  5. I dont fking want 300 of my apps all on home screen, specially with just 5 available with my HTC!!! WTF!? I use my homescreens mainly for widgets!!!!!!!!!

  6. keep the app drawer I like it. allow for the option to get rid of it like what samsung is doing so people have a choice. I just wish samsung would let you move the icon to where you want it.

  7. they do have app draws lol you have to go to settings- about phone- and then the update center lol at least for my lgk10

  8. Dont get rid of app drawer!!!
This is one of main differences between iOS and Android, and its one of best features in Android. If Samsung could put both options in their phones (to turn on/off app drawer) so can the others. But for those people who dont like it, they can go to iPhone, and stop trying to change Android to lookalike iPhone.

  9. Its ok for easy navigation but some people prefer app drawer because sometimes when you installed a lot of apps the home screen looks messy. So i agree on adding a toggle option so that people can choose on what they want

  10. I like the app drawer for apps that I don't wanna see but don't wanna get rid of like google keyboard. I don't want to see a million apps that I don't use when they can be tucked away out of sight

  11. I hope Android does not do something stupid and remove the app drawer. That is the thing that separates Android from apple. I will simply not update or get an I phone. Better yet go back to the old slide/flip phone.

  12. is there a way to get/download an app drawer?

and is there a way to do this and add a Google now widget on a Huawei mate S

  13. nw nly google realised to take app drawer out but apple knew they dont need app drawer in first place which helps the os look simple

  14. Easiest option have the option to turn it off or on but have it off by default? I always liked the app drawer keeps most clutter hidden! Half the reason i want the switch back to android is the app drawer sick of iOS having to folder EVERYTHING to tidy up my home screens -_-

  15. the app drawer is one of the reasons why I switched from IOS to android.
that way you don't have to put the standard apps that you don't use one your home screen.
androids gives a much bigger liberty then apple IOS. please keep it that way. or should people start experimenting with other operating systems?
Ubuntu for phone or fox os?

  16. Just give the option in settings for app draw or no app draw! everyone is a winner, otherwise just keep the app draw!! nobody likes clutter.

  17. its so ridiculous.. app drawer is the most recognizable and useful option of Android and they are going to eliminate it 😕 why i don't use iphone if i want to use its UI??
    Really bad decision Android 😞

  18. As soon as Android takes away the app drawer I'm going to buy iPhones. Android dies for me at the point, they remove the app drawer. The only company who does it right with the no app drawer on Android is Huawei. I had one and I didn't complain, but I will complain on stock Android with no app drawer. That thing is, what makes Android.

  19. are you kidding me? no appdrawer is the worst fucking idea anyone has ever had, and that includes things like world wars 1, 2 and potentially 3. do NOT! get rid of the appdrawer, you morons. don't touch it. don't even point at it! seriously… how retarded is that? I can't even begin to imagine how anybody in their right mind would think it's a good idea to take one of the single worst features of iOS (or rather, lack thereof), and bring that to android. big no no! BIG fucking no no!

  20. Hmm…7.0 (Android N) seems rather iOSish with no app drawer. What can we expect then on 8.0 (Android O?)…a Start button or live tiles?
