While the founder of the company had great intentions, what he has developed is a literal health disaster in the making. It's especially bad because these devices will eventually be found in public venues, such as restaurants, and schools. The ions generated by the invention repel Magnesium ions in our body that is needed to activate our ATP. This includes our immune cells. My number one concern with this is safety. They're going to have to do a very good job of convincing me that walking into their field of radiation is safe.
The video shows that the company is a scam. Watch between 12:48 and 14:05 – the DC power received immediately next to the receiver is 669mW – not bad (13% of the power from regular 5W charger) – but just 20cm (about 8 inch or 2/3 ft) from the transmitter the received DC power drops to 0mW – yes, ZERO power. Yet this guy is taking about power to 5-10-15 ft. So much for charging at a distance… Michael is also lying about the patents: Energous has only 3 patents issued by the USPTO, not 6, and they were not issued in the past two months.
DOPE!!!!

Energous is very good at public speaking, but our interviewer… not so much… :
i can understand wireless charging if your at a cafe to get a nice top off. but at home are people to lazy too to plug in a cable
