  1. I love your informative explanations and I know they are a lot of work. I always feel like I'm attending a fun class on auto repair put on by a favorite teacher. Kudos!

  2. Those are a $350 dealer installed “Heritage” stripes option for the grand sport only. They are a factory option with the Chevrolet flags printed in the corners of the forward stripe.

  3. That epoxy will do fine. I'm not sure if the gap on the lower right headlight got fixed yet. Maybe missed a video. That car is really looking good.

  4. Glue-in-a-tube doesn't seem like "The Right Stuff" for structural metal to fiberglass reinforced plastic… 2-part epoxy would be. STRIPES STAY! 🙂

  5. Put peanut butter on that sticker on the radiator support it will take it off let it sit for a little while then scrape it right off

  6. Back left tire probably ran over some debris from the accident, like a brake cooling duct after it got torn off the car … 😜

  7. That whole fender needs to come up, that's why the bottom of the fender is also out of alignment. And besides that look at the body lines, they are the same quarter inch off as the fender. Secondly, those stripes are part of the package on the Vette, don't delete them. Lastly I know you're trying to do this in a cost effective manner but don't be too cheap.

  8. @Samcrac. You need to keep the stripes on. That is exclusive to the Grand Sport version of the Vette. The disc brake vents are on all models of that body style Vette. Make sure the ones for the back are there too. I work for Chevrolet so watching you work on this car is like a day in a life of me at work. 👍

  9. the stripes look a bit stupid, but if the car came like that from the factory, leave them on. (and blame the designer for the decal look and placement on the car )

  10. Sam, please don't get epoxy on your hands. Epoxy allergies are not fun stuff. Use Nitrile-gloves and replace them if you get glue on them.

  11. Sam if you can’t get the lock off weld on a nut on the lock but and then you can impact it off. I ran into the same issue when the guys at discount tires used the impact on my lock key. They broke the lock and left me to figure out how to fix it.

  12. Sam – what is the black glue/epoxy (make, part #)? You say it's epoxy but it looks like a single feed cartridge? It would be helpful to some of us viewers if you'd include details on the materials you use like this glue. Things like what type of Bondo you like etc. That's if you are allowed to mention brand names of these products or want without them paying you. Like your videos!
