I agree, the drag strip is the best testing ground that allows you to focus on the physics(drag aerodynamic efficiency, weight, acceleration, chassis and suspension efficiency) of the supra that effect or influence it’s elapsed times and then modify them according to your goals.
i was gonna think you would put drag tires on the s15 and a another 3.4L 2jz with more boost etc

Unsprung mass is equal to 4lbs of sprung weight. So lighter wheels, brakes, suspension and engine cradle or K members etc makes a huge difference. Also the front wheels and those skinnies have very little rolling resistance.
