Hands-on with the Chameleon skin for Android tablets

Teknision is in the process of kickstarting Chameleon, a custom user interface for Android tablets. There are a lot of clean, streamlined widgets here, but the real clincher will be network and time-based switching between home screen setups.

You can pitch in to the Chameleon Kickstarter campaign over here: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gaborvida/chameleon-a-better-home-screen-for-your-android-ta

  1. This app is not well supported at all. Read the reviews in the Play store. I bought this app and am sorely disappointed in the lack of developer support. Try emailing them and see what happens. The widgets need a LOT of work as they drain the battery like crazy and the refresh intervals cannot be customized. (Uninstalled on my nexus 4, S3 and nexus 7. My advice is steer clear. Don't take my word for, check the reviews)

  2. I said 'essentially' complete. If they needed more funds to finish it up, I think they would have said that when directly asked why the project was put on Kickstarter. If you watched the video, you should have noticed that the 2 reasons they gave for using Kickstarter was pre-sales and PR, which is exactly what I stated.

  3. This should have never been on Kickstarter. The product was essentially complete before it was put on, and they are merely using Kickstarter for PR and early financial rewards. I'd call that abuse.

  4. I do want this, just because it looks amazing, but I still think it's just too much. And I have never bought anything from apple and I never will, they're selling 100% overpriced cancer.

  5. How about not installing this then?

To me, this seems perfect. Everything ready from the homescreen. If I would want to open apps instead of viewing widgets, I would've bought Apple.

  6. It looks nice, but there's way too many stuff on your homescreen. I want mine to have a couple of icons on there I use the most, but I don't use every feature on android. If I want to check my facebook I'll use the facebook app or site, no need to show a crappy widget for that on my homescreen. Same thing for everything else, this will just suck up battery life. If I want to check something, I'll open the app for it.

  7. Free Playstation Xbox iTunes Paypal gift cards! NO SURVEYS!

1)Download Apptrailers (Available on Android and Apple)

    2)Enter cheat code "thefinisher'

3)That code will give you 10$ to any store of your choice.

THIS IS NOT SPAM! I MADE 60$ IN JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS.
