2. I was planning on only changing the fluid in the reservoir . My question is “Does the brake fluid in the brake lines eventually mix with the reservoir so instead of doing a complete flush I can replace the reservoir with new fluid until eventually the old fluid is no longer there.

5. Hey, I feel the pressure when I’m doing the one man method and it works, but after I close the bleeder valve and wait like 2 minutes, the brake pedal feels soft again. Also sometimes I heard some sloshing sounds from the caliper which I assumed are air bubbles, but idek. I feel like I’m doing something wrong cuz now the brakes don’t feel solid like they do when I normally turn off the ignition and press it several times.

6. It makes total sense to raise the car but I don't have anything to raise my car and so…… I might just be going into the shop after all… but this was super helpful and informative!!!

    because of humidity

14. For my Volvo I use system "every 4th year". It means, when xc70 comes to 4th engine oil change, haldex oil&filter as well as brake fluid is changed. At that point 940 and v70 are taken for the BIG liquid change despite of mileage (kilometerage?). I guess the same about belts…not sure… OMG, must check!

    “Release!” > “Released!” Once fully released…
    Better when communicating to ensure each person understands current state. Overall, great video even though I’ve done this a million times, I enjoy seeing how others teach. Your channel is by far the best I’ve seen. Especially your newer ones as they filter out most of the “down time” between the important information. 👍🏻

31. Hey Chris, I have an 07 Tahoe and I tried the one man method. The master cylinder had plenty of fluid, but when I would push the brakes to siphon the fluid, the brake fluid would only go about half way through the funnel and then make it's way back toward the brake line, not the bottle. Hope I explained that ok. Any suggestions?

43. I bought a "Mighty Vac" some years ago that "draws out" various
    types of fluid; it made the process even easier. I only had to use
    the "brake-compression" part once—on the last caliper. The re
    sult was…Perfect brake operation. Get a Mighty Vac, guys, it
    comes in quite handy.

44. Please help. Followed this to the T best we could. Now the 99f150 rebuild for kids 1st vehicle has no brakes. Pedal harm with engine off, engine on pedal to the floor and no brakes. We also changed front calipers and pads. Pass front caliper started leaking all over the place during the bleed bleed. Thoughts?

45. does this work for newer high end cars such as a giulia quadrifoglio? I like doing everything myself as the mechanics by me are all deceitful

46. I tried this but the bleeder valve just snapped off. Fortunately it just broke the top but the thread is still intact and in the same place so the brakes still works and don't leak. But now I can't flush them

49. Method 1:
    The person pressing the brakes should get a firm pedal before you loosen the bleeder, then follow through as you loosen the bleeder. Trying to do it at the same time risks air getting sucked back in. It's more of a pump and hold, then bleed and try to close the bleeder right before the pedal hits the floor.

    Method 2:
    Air can get sucked in past the bleeder threads. I usually put a little vaseline on the treads to prevent this. I also try to finish with the two person method.
