  2. I help my dad with rims, caliper and rotors painting every summer! really fun and easy plus bring your old car to life lol

  3. The fast and easy way to paint brake calipers is to pay someone else to do it for you while you have your feet up watching your fav box set.

  4. Why not just completely take all the rubber off and get a rebuilt rubber kit for it instead of going through that mess with tape. Rubber looks old anyways could use a rebuild kit

  5. Chris Chris Chris I’m very disappointed in you and your assertion that there’s multiple levels to consider.

There’s only two levels in any book anywhere:

    #1 The Right Way,
    #2-The Wrong Way

Never do a job unless you’re going to do it thoroughly.

Oh and seriously rubbing alcohol does nothing.

What you need is A few different sizes of wire brushes, Sam’s Club oven cleaner, B12 Chemtool carburetor cleaner, & the brakekleen, maybe some acetone..
Put the caliper inside of a oil drain pan
Soak it in oven cleaner scrubbing with the wire brushed in between each soaking.
No need for sandpaper bro just really good wire brushes.
After the oven cleaner do the same thing with the B-12 Carb-cleaner.
After the carb cleaner soak it & clean it with the brake clean &/or the acetone.
Don’t forget to use primer please.

Paint to your hearts content don’t forget to seal it with some clear.
