  1. Even though i am late to the party, i am thinking of getting a chromebox, especially now that they are going for cheap.

  2. I intend to get one of these for personal use, but how many USB 3.0s in total does it have? and Upgradeability, what size RAM? I have stuff just lying around and this seems like a mini-ITX PC with ChomeOS installed. But I would want to upgrade RAM and possibly HDD. I heard it has exernal 3.5 and internal 3.5, both i have.

  3. Can anyone recommend this over the ASUS or Dell chromeboxes? Is it overkill for the ChromeOS if one will use it just for web surfing and youtube?

  4. Why didn't you use a Logitech wireless with dongle? You can have multiple Logitech wireless keyboards and mouses on one dongle via Logitech Unify for Chrome.

  5. Going to a ChromeOS device was one of the BEST decisions I've ever made. I love it, and can't see myself going BACK to a Windows device ever.

  6. I hope Chromebox aside from Lenovo would be implemented in our institution in SDCA, Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines. It would be much more cheaper, and everything can be saved to the cloud. Right. Right.

  7. It's very hard to sell a chromebox to power users. People that do a lot of heavy things such as video editing, photoshop, gaming etc. But for regular web browsers and people that want something simple I always say chromebooks and boxes are a great option. Not only have I realized a majority of people I know don't really do much with a laptop/desktop beyond web browsing, but half of them hardly understand how a PC works in the first place. I do understand PCs but I purchased a Chromebox to supplement my life. It's been a buy I do not regret, and minus decent video editing I can do almost everything else I want to via PC. To sum up, I recommend a chromebox/chromebook to tech amateurs and pros a like!
