you show us video's of the menu and the home screen while talking abut the 4K panel. But the panel only turns on when you're in sony's album app. For the rest of the time its on 1080p,thats why you dont see a difference
DON'T BUY THIS PHONE. Don't make the same mistake I did buying an Xperia. I had a Z3 AND Z5 and both screens cracked BY THEMSELVES, now the screens don't work AT ALL. Absolutely no response to touch on the screen. HUGE mistake. Again DON'T BUY SONY XPERIA PHONES.

Lets see when apple will introduce the 4k on their phones. Maybe in 2023 but for now i'm going to stay with my 5s …. i wish i had an xperia <3 but don't get me wrong i love my iphone but i want a big daddy like the sony xperia O_O :3

sony smartphones are ment to be used as mirrors. pretty expensive mirrors though
Sony users turing into an angry mob every time anybody dares to criticise their gadgets.
Criticism is there to point out flaws and to press OEMs into improving their product.
For my money, Sony really needs to reinvent it's design and software, and judging from Sony Mobile Divisions sales, that really wouldn't hurt.

the LG G3 had 4k resolution before the sony Xperia z5
How do I know if Adreno 430(The phone's GPU) can handle the 4k Resolution? I'm still deciding what to choose, the Standard or the Premium, since the only difference between the two are the screens and the battery life(which is something to compensate for the screen size). I'm just concerned about how the phone will perform when it comes to apps that have lots of graphical rendering(e.g. games).

is it just me or the design looks really similar to the original Z? the rectangular and solid design is what i've been waiting for from the Z lines.

The fingerprint scanner on the side seems like a good idea……until you put on a case (ie: spigen, otterbox, etc) 😛
Most devices with a 4K doesnt really go very bright. why is it so ?
Sony should create an add-on controller for the Xperia Z5 so it can play PS Vita games.
OIS is not present in any of the z5 series.
Would love to see +Marques Brownlee do a review of this Z5 Premium and compare against the iPhone 6S and the Nexus 6P,S6 and Windows ? Doesn't stand a chance.
