Great Underwater Footage of the Gloria Wreck, NJ

We dropped down a ROV (rope operated vehicle lol) to check out Gloria aka Glory which lies about 10mi offshore of Atlantic City and Little Egg inlet. The depth is about 70ft and the structure rises about 20ft off the bottom. I actually got the rig caught on the wreck and we hard reversed to get it out @ 3:42… Got the heart going pretty good!
There are black sea bass, tog, cunner, porgy, flounder, and many other fish using the wreck as structure! This is possibly the remains of the Lake Frampton…
Let me know what you think and if you have any other ideas/locations to drop the GoPro down in the comments section below. Also like and subscribe if you enjoyed!

  1. In 2020 here in an alternate universe where Covid-19 doesn’t exist and ChrisFix is ChrisFish, the most popular fishing youtuber on YouTube

  2. ohlol, Didn't know that there are black sea bass outside the Black sea. Pretty tasty btw! (I'm from Bulgaria, big fan of you Chris!)

  3. Hey Chris, check out John Skinner from Long Island on you tube and his use of the under water camera and fishing. This guy is great.

  4. nice job! have you put the red or magenta filter over the lens to color correct underwater? might not work as well in NJ waters as other places… 🙂

i'd love to see a small chumlog stash fixed in front of the camera to bring in the fish to see the feeding frenzy!

  5. Yea, the hurricane really spread out some of the lighter wrecks but this wreck is 70ft down and largely intact so it didnt move.

  6. Haha exactly! You have to be research certified to dive for what I do and it is a long and tiring process… So this is a lot easier lol

  7. i live in toms river, I've fished off that before a couple times. surprised the hurricane didnt bring it in closer to shore.
