CAN ANY one plz !!!!!HELPP ME!!!! ok so i have a 2002 CS lancer 1.6L, cvt tranny, after abt 15mins of driving i came back home and the engine quickly shot up to 2000rpms when i put it in (P) or (N) but the engine does not idle back down to it's warm up temps . ALSO when in (D) or (R) there is NO high RPMS every thing is normal, only when in (P) AND (N) high RPMS
PS: i have done all the possible vacuum test with carb SPRAY the car does not have A MAF sensor

I seen that sigh and it meant 2 things to me 1 someone is getting married or a car is being a pain it the ass . I remember my dad a master mechanic for 30 years . I was 11 at the cab company were my dad worked on checker cabs . He worked the 3rd shift and I was allowed to watch and help. We come in and found that on a cab. He replaced the engine fixed 1 problem then it took 5 days to find the others , Thiswas in 1968
