  1. I have a Z1 and kept anticipating an upgrade to the new Z models, but I see nothing but minimal upgrades that aren't worth the upgrade. Plus my z1 is still really nice and fast. Its an indestructible phone. Ive dropped it on concrete so many times, and even got ran over by a car and no cracks lol.  Its amazing!  But seems to me these latest updates, the quality went down a lot.  Am I wrong?

  2. I have a Sony xperia z2 with noise cancelling headphones white as well just got lollipop 5.0 update as well. there us no difference lol.5.2 inch screen same little better processor and that's all.Brightness in screen is nothing I put my phone in lowest brightness cos it's bright. Save ur money don't bye w new phone cos it's the latest serially😗

  3. Hi Android Authority, is it possible for you guys to do a Sony Xperia E4 review. I haven't found a video review on the internet that is very good and so I think you will do a good job. Like this if you feel the same way

  4. S6's resolution is much, much higher than iPhone 6's, ever thought of that?
    S6: 1440p x 2560 pixels (~577 ppi pixel density)
    iPhone6: 750p x 1334 pixels (~326 ppi pixel density)

That's almost twice as much in resolution alone, not to mention the higher pixel density. Of course the iPhone 6 is gonna perform better on games. If the iPhone 6 were to run on 1440p, then the S6 will definitely beat the iPhone 6, by alot.

  5. so they still have the same camera and the same small flash 🙁 they really need to put a bigger flash it can make a difference to the camera i was waiting for this phone but now i think i'll wait for the note 5 or just buy the note 4 that's sad i love sony's design.

  6. technically the Samsung coming that close to apple is really impressive as it pushes more than half the pixels of the apple device if it had a 1080p screen it would be better in terms of fps just begs the question is UHD really needed?

  7. Finally the truth is coming out iPhone is better 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 i have to agree

  8. Jayce was each game modified for both android and apple? I would think that they would be at par with each other or the 6 a little in the front. I'm not saying the A8 is a bad chip but at least a newer chip would have some edge. Also my boss has a Xperia 3 and he only cracked the screen in the top left corner from edge to edge and now that small portion won't work interesting no. Keep up the good work and stay thirsty my friend.

  9. "Not what you were expecting"? The iphone's GPU has almost always been more powerful than the equivalent Android one of each generation (except with the launch of the S800, but don't quote me on that).
Yes, the CPU is weak and relies on trickery and heavy optimisation, but games have always performed smoother (thanks to the comparably low resolution, too).

  10. Xperia Z4 seems great and all, but Sony needs to expand in the U.S. and bring their phones to AT&T already! I would probably buy this if it did…..

  11. I don't get it playing games on your phones isn't really all that great!I find myself playing a couple of games ones in a while but that's it. I only clash of clans and hellfire.

  12. is there seriously someone who would rather take the 1440p display over 1080p and sacrifice some of the performance and battery life, because 1440 would look better if you look very very closely? or is it just a showoff?

  13. @Jayce Broda A small correction, its "Kannada" and you end it with "daa" and not "Kannad". Nothing against you though. Most of the North Indians get this wrong too 🙂

  14. All big mobile games are optimized for iPhones. There are just 2 devices now that need to be optimized compared to the bevy of specs (such as processors) that are in the android ecosystem. It is really hard to make a port for a large amount of android devices, compared to making your app run good on two devices. This is the advantage of iPhones over the multitude of android devices. This would be obvious to anyone. However, where the android specs truly shine are through emulation. I am able to run nintendo ds and psp games without a hitch. But this is for me, as mobile games kind of irk me with IAPs and the like. The variety in android clearly does not help with app optimization across the board. What do you all think?

  15. The reveal of the iPhone 6 vs the s6 at the end was stupid.  FPS on the iphone 6 with a resolution of 1334×750 vs FPS on the s6 amoled 2560×1440 screen of nearly 4 (3.68) times the resolution.

  16. Well obviously, all of the apps on iOS are made SPECIFICALLY for the iPhone/iPad/iPod. Android apps on the other hand have to try to work with hundreds if not thousands of phones/tablets all with different chipsets. I have an iPhone 6 plus and nexus 6 and although according to that benchmark the nexus 6 was ranked last, I still prefer gaming on my nexus, screen looks a lot nicer to me (I love AMOLED) and the speakers are miles better for games.

  17. @Jayce Broda Malayalam is what my parents speak.

    Pronounce: Mah-Lei-Ahl-Uhm

    Telengu is like Teh-Leng-Ghu

  18. I have a z3, and I love it. Probably the best phone I've ever used because of its sheer reliability. But seriously Sony, you have got to produce phones which make me want to switch to your next model. Don't you see that that's how the other major players are earning their cash?
