  1. Hose clamp is better than a zip tie for the boot clamp… imo..
question, the blue loctite you used on the threading of the inner ball joint part, that gonna be an issue in the future?

  2. were looking at my dad's 31' 1994 coachman diesel pusher motorhome. we noticed it only had one bar on the left side but it looks like theres supposed to b two. i would call em sway control bars or something to that effect. ever seen a setup with only one left bar and not a right one? i dont know the part name for sure

  3. Hey Chris I can't unscrew the outer rod seems like the whole rod turns. Any suggestions? I've got it off the knuckle assembly.

  4. Any car problem i have, "ChrisFix" is ALWAYS included in the search! Swear you got a video for everything man!
    Cheers from Minnesota!

  5. When u take inner tie rods off,do u have to put a wrench on other side tie rod to hold it from spinning? I've read that u have to on 95 taurus sho. So it doesnt screw up steering rack. I'm not sure.please help.thank u so much

  6. I appreciate your videos. I like working on my own car and not relying on my ex husband or another mechanic. So again thanks for making this seem totally doable for me.

  7. Are hose clamps unacceptable? What about a large spring loaded hose clamp? Chris, I have noticed the steering racks seem to be placed on vehicles after the one time clamps are done, so it is next to impossible to re-clamp it while the pinion is attached to the vehicle. What do you recommend as a more permanent solution?

  8. Interesting video, in minute 9, the friend places the ball joint with the risk that the graduation spring of the toothed bar of the hydraulic steering may become out of adjustment, and that causes hydraulic oil to leak. The toothed bar must be braked at the other end with a pressure pliers or other tool.

  9. Good video but shouldn't you use another wrench to hold the rack and pinion from moving before cracking the bolt on the inner tie rod.
could cause damage to the Rack N Pinion.

  10. you sound sick or something anyways you rock buddy thanks so much for your videos there's negativity any time that a good thing like this show keep going we need your videos God Bless you brother

  11. Hey I have a question. When I turn my vehicle I hear a clicking sound. I know I need a new tie rod anyways so you think that, that might be the issue? People are saying axle but my car is RWD and I hear it in the front wheel.

  12. Hey chris, when I was torquing down my new tie rod, it would spin a little as if I was stripping it. I assume I was overtorqing it. Is the internals of the steering assembly meant to spin like that? I'm not really sure what happened lol, I didn't expect it to spin 👀

  13. I took my homda to 2 dealerships. Both of them did not replace the part. They cut a jole in the rubber and shot grease in it. It was the upper tie rod.
