  1. They just did it again, larger, on Easter evening. I live here. St Louis city gross incompetence on display for the whole world!

  2. There was probably no demands because they disincentivized making demands. They could do this by making the process of voicing grievances so complicated and pointless, none of the inmates bother. Now the jail can play stupid and act like they didn’t know anything was wrong

  3. There are inmates in there who have been held for 1, sometimes 2 years, without trial.

    This is shitty reporting.

  4. We are still just stuck with things other people said that they are going to use to say that what we really here isn't what's being said either. Just keep repeating song lyrics and scripts folks. Thats all thats going on.

  5. Im sorry but these "extremely dangerous criminals" didnt break out or take complete control like they did in Georgia but instead wanted simple demands

  6. I'm just curious about what crimes these people committed? Like, if you kill or rape someone that's deserving of a serious sentence. But I wonder if some of them may have been in there for traffic violations or smoking pot? It's crazy how smoking a joint or running a stop light can get you years in prison

  7. After reading the story the inmates were right to do this. There are many people who were supposed to be released who are still held illegally there. That is kidnapping and that place should be sued and shut down. Also they violated the time frame to get a preliminary hearing they abuse the rights.

  8. But wait you've been telling us that this is a "peaceful demonstration" for like a year now it's peaceful it's a "peaceful protest"
