In this episode Chris pulls the door panel from one BRZ and puts it on the new Plan B BRZ to enable to passenger side window to roll up. Chris also removes the driver’s seat from the car and shows to repair a seat that’s been blown apart from an air bag deployment.

Chris I have a question for you, this BRZ was $7k right? After the repairs how much did it come out to be? I have found pretty decent ones for $11k-13k. Not sure if it would be worth it for me to go through all this work as far as the driving, gas, time, cost of the vehicle, parts if the difference between working on one vs one that does not require repairs is negligible. It's definitely a cool series though, who wouldn't like to see this thing go from junk to vr00m lol?

If you ever run into a down window w/o the master switch, pull the door panel off, use a jump box or a battery with a fussed jumper take the window connector off and power the motor. Power and ground one way it goes, up, power ground the other way it goes down.

honestly i feel like with the money and time you have spent with the two brz you could of got a used problem free brz for the same amount of money (i could be wrong i have no idea what the final total is) but doing thing the hard way is the best way right! keep at it! you've got yourself a subsriber

i think you broke your door panel lol ,theres 2 screws on the back of the metal looking plate on your handle. they connect to the door.

I don't know if anyone said it but those rings in the seat are called hoag rings and have some special pliers. I work at a ford dealer and have had to deal with them
