  1. I'm on this typing right now with this phone. I had it about a year now and it's an okay phone. I mean it's not the best but it's good enough to satisfy someone. I really with I had a front camera on this, temple run, and screenshot. But oh well I'm gonna get the galaxy s3 soon 🙂

  2. I hav had this phone for a while now. And it STILL works great. Its a very simple, reliable phone. And the keyboard makes it textastic! Its pretty fast, takes decent pics, and has a good battery life compared to other phones. If u want a simple smartphone this is it

  3. @rch1jr It wasn't terrible but I did some research and ended up taking it back within the 30 day return period and bought the Huawei Mercury, No regrets.

The Mercury isn't High end by today's standards but it's still very nice (notification led, 720p video recording, 8mp camera, led flash, front & back facing cameras, 4" screen, 1.4ghz qualcomm snapdragon CPU.)

The Transfix's biggest downfall for me was the 320×240 max resolution when recording video and the smaller screen.

  4. Bought this a couple days ago it's an awesome phone IMO, The screen could be bigger and the CPU isnt super fast vs. current models but it's running android 2.3.4 Gingerbread at least, So far Ive played Angry Birds Rio, Jewels Star, Cut the Rope & Where's my Water and the only one that slows down sometimes is Where's my Water due to all the physics calculations (still very playable & great game btw) overall the Transfix is a ridiculously huge leap from my previous Samsung Messenger 2 lol.

  5. @Mcode3996 Anecdotal evidence doesn't show an average or normal distribution of costs. Grats to you but I think most modern people would be fine with spending a couple hundred only on this and then not being tied to a contract. Opposed to modern equivalents of 24months and 50 upfront.

  6. "…nice little entry level phone…" man, this phone might now be a high-end phone, but does the same thing, for less money! AND many people like to spend a lot of money on phones and then complain about how high the gasoline prices are and so on. Well, let me say this, if you stop spending $300 and then $100 monthly on an iPhone, Nexus or Torch (that will get outdated after 2 months), you WOULD have more money for the things that are really worth.
