This is so sad and can understand how hard it is. I haven't seen my fiancee in person since Feb 2020. I got my initial approval in March 2020 and my case has been at the national visa center since April 2020. The London embassy is only processing k1 visas for people who joined a lawsuit which I cannot afford to join as its now $2000 an applicant. Lets hope we are all reunited soon

Great to see this issue being talked about. I am british, partner is american. we have been waiting for our k1 visa for a long time just so we can be together.
The visa process is long, even with no pandemic. My wife came over in 2018. Good luck to them..
