Steering wheel light comes up on all VWs with the electric steering after the battery has been disconnected. You need to lock the wheel full right then left and it will go out !

Several different electrical issues, but all have a common place…the fuse box, which is usually on the side that was damaged. js

That noise is not hard to fix and it’s really common in those car even in the mk5 generation
Yeah i feel your pain, all VAG product's are money pit's, sad truth but in my country 80% of cars are from VW. They are low quality cars but we must drive them because our mechanics only know how to repair vw product and nothing else, so sad. lol even a gasoline vw sound like a diesel 🙂

You could really use a new camera something with the autofocus was blurring and distorting the image I recommend a lot of the high-end Sony cameras that's what I see other YouTubers using and there stuff looks great
Vw and soldering is a no no …… per repair manuals use butt connectors. I'm a certified vw tech…
welding ultra high strength steel makes the steel weaker they say http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.823.1667&rep=rep1&type=pdf Also the crash codes need to be cleared off the airbag control module. The roof airbag may not be pluged in all the way.
you have made a few good videos, but i am not a big fan of added music.. it dose not help when i need to keep changing the volume up and down so i can hear you..
