A little addition to your thoughts about your paid videos, not only are you getting more detailed information for cheaper, you also have a man who (I assume) stands behind his videos and would gladly answer any questions if someone didn't understand something in the video entirely. Not something you'd get out of the autozone haynes manual.

@ndchevy Probably, I actually had to do some reshooting on a video but to be honest I only have so many clothes that I wear when I work on cars.
Btw, I'm just now finding out about your vids man. Great informative stuff. I'm very happy with paying for some long length videos, like you're starting to do. You deserve it. You obviously know your stuff + you're a tech geek (you can tell =P).
Definitely going to start spreading the word about your channel here to all my car interested buddies.

@ponch37300 The only thing I've ever seen or read in a service manual on the subject is to use a little bit of oil on the threads, I've never seen anti-sieze suggested, I would say that is a personal preference, not mine BTW.
Eric, watching this video you said you like to solve shop arguements which made me think about one that seems to be very opinionated. Using antiseeze on spark plugs. What is your opinion on this? I have read some pretty heated debates over this, manufacturer recomendations, personal opinions, aluminum heads, electrical resistance, ford mod engine's stuck plugs, etc. What is your personal opinion/experience with this?

Ahhh, That explains a great many things. I don't have a Twit account and I usually check my FB about once a day & most of it is done on my Blackberry, So to scroll to your status on FB I would have scrolled though a mile of Farmville or other friend drama gossip before I find ya. I wish there was an alert setting that would let me know what you do a FB posting.
@Michiganborn1969 The post dates are off, some videos are uploaded long before they go 'live', that's the reason they aren't showing up, if you follow the Facebook or Twitter feeds I announce when new videos are released, which are normally Mon, Wed, and Fri. The latest video is also featured on my YT page.

@mizer6666 I just felt the need to clarify, I really didn't feel effected by them I just wanted to state my case so the next time someone made comment I could just refer them to this video. Thanks for your comments thought I really appreciate those.

It is mindblowing for me how he STILL keeps the stuff coming at that speed, having in mind that he need to do a daily shop work to support his family.
If You are still criticising that he is selling some of those videos – You should go to Your mom and ask for internet access being cut off since it is apparent that You are no older then 13 years old and not capable of handling the internet freedom of speech

Now honestly Eric – i would like to think that this is the LAST time You are adressing people that are not even worth to be adressed – really.
If You are criticising stuff that You are not even able to comprehend ( knowledge of Eric + time and money spent on doing stuff FOR FREE to You ) – You shouldn`t be considered as a valid partner for the argument at all.
Eric is doing a lot of stuff for free to You – but he have a life just like all of us and bills to pay as well

@midlantic1 I would suggest watching the Monday videos then because that is when I post those videos, sometimes on Wednesdays as well.
@antoblake09 I only sell the full length videos, the rest are free and posted every week.

All I have to say Eric is keep making the videos…I even think $10 is cheap for the services you provide. Over the past year or so you have helped me with my 99 Tahoe problems and my 74 Challenger project car. I would even be interested in making a video(s) of project problems I am having and pay to have you analyze where I'm messing up…that might be just another way to expand your business. Stay Dirty my friend!
It's never good business to not charge for your work Eric. I work in the heating and cooling industry and through a slow period, so there isn't a lot of money coming in. Through all of this, customers still try to take advantage of me. Those people hating are doing you a favor in that even they think your work is worth something.
this guy is extremely epic for sharing info and showing how to fix your car/s at little to no cost. try and see how meany people that would be this nice, cool, and helpful.
Your awesome Eric, the haters are only jealous of what you have created. There is 2 ways to become popular on youtube: Be the best at what you do or be the best at failing. Your the first letter 🙂 Keep up the good job and remember Stay Dirty :p

Recording, Editing, Encoding and Uploading all cost money in some way.
