  1. @Begbucks That wasn't the TIV, it was Reed Timmers Dominator that I was referring to in this video, his has always been a GM from the start but I think he started with a Yukon and now they have the full size. If I remember correctly the TIV had all kinds of problems not the least of which was a broken axle but I don't remember similar problems with the Dominator mostly because I think it has a lot less weight.

  2. @integraz32lover I've looked into it but I haven't gotten any feedback. He would make a great guest for sure. Perhaps I'll send him another message.

  3. @bourkeygx We have something similar in some states here in the US, in fact I learned to use those while studying for just such a test.

  4. @robertfletcher89 I think that's a hydraulic clutch set up, you might want to look at the components and check for leaks. If you don't find anything with that part of the system then you will probably need to remove the trans and inspect the clutch assembly and throw out bearing.

  5. @spelunkerd Sadly that is often the case with great people but it was a good read just the same. Tune into the podcast and talk to Tom about your questions I'm sure he would be able to help. Thanks for the comment.

  6. Gee I wander if you paid lower than my friend did for a Hoppy B4A Headlight Aimer Kit
He got it for 165.88 plus a few bucks for shipping new in the box.
Love to see you use it and adjust headlights

  7. Eric, look at all that hair you used to grow. Rad.

Shop teachers never liked us longhairs. Now the best shop teacher ever shows us an old photo, ha ha.

  8. Wouldn't it be cool if there was such a thing as Tom the motorbike guy. I'd love to learn how to adjust my bike valves, clean the carb, and do the brakes on my Kaw Vulcan.

I read Zen too, three decades ago. Just last month I read Pirsig's bio on Wiki. A bit of a sad read, considering I didn't know anything about the man. His ideas were gold, but it sounds like his practical life was more difficult.

  9. Great video Eric. Nice new tool.I am one of those viewers who know what it is an how it works. Can't wait to see the video on you using it.Should be very interesting.
