  2. Believe it or not, I found this phone in pretty much perfect condition in the garbage at the building I live at. This building is near a major university with a ton of Chinese students so everything was in Chinese and couldn't even get the play store on here without a ton of screwing around, let alone the fact the phone was user locked…and it's not perfect yet but it's still a beautiful phone with a beautiful screen…I'm typing on and watching this video on it right now… eventually I will totally re-flash it and put my sim in and use it as my daily, and get it to actually be complety English because some of the text is still in Chinese.

  3. Hi! Im from the future, huawei is one of the best tech company now. Their smartphones are also one of the best now, sadly they are facing big issues now including the US banning their devices, and mandating other US companies not to do business with them.

  4. Still in 2019 using as my secondary phone. As a photographer I can easily say one of the best display I have ever seen in a budget smartphone.

  5. Real Review

    2nd Part.

Okay regarding apps, I never encountered problems running apps or installing apps.

In fact I notice it works with apps that basically change the hardware. For example, it works well with wifi managers. And Screen rotators! Sometimes when using the phone. I like the bottom charger slot is on top of the screen. So I can use it without damaging the cables.

What else? The Call blocker also works well. Black list.

Whatsapp, works well. Scanner applications. Great to read E-books as well! Works wonderful with Google Translator. I travel alot to countries where they dont speak English, so I always use google translator, and the microphone seems to be able to pick up words which are said.

There is no "lagging" processor works fine.

  6. REAL REVIEW

AFter approximately 2 years of using this phone. I am here to write what I think about this phone.

Im a heavy user, heavy user in the sense, I access roots, I use nfc, I use GPS, I use the hotspot. I use the email functions. Basically Use it to the core.

One word; It is AMAZING. It gets more than just the job done.

Wifi? It has one of the most powerful WIFI I ever used. It can penetrate several distances compare to my other phones. It does not have issues being a hotspot connection either. Where I have connected 5 devices at the same time. And It works perfectly. But little hiccup sometimes, rarely happens when I try to connect computers unto the hotspot hosted by huawei. All I have to do is just connect and wait. It will sort out on its own.

Hotspot is fairly stable. It can last up to hours! and it never disconnects any devices that is connected to it. So you can work on the go.

GPS? It works brilliantly. Accuracy is up to 99.9 percent! Plays Pokemon Go, Waze etc. Grab Uber.

It can run multiple apps at the same time. with no problem! it has a huge cache thus it does not close those apps which are in the back ground running.

sound is okay, louder than most phone. But use headset to maximize your experience. I watch movies on this phone!

Battery? Bloody great! Despite two years using it heavily! the battery still holds! it does nt loses its battery capacity!

charging? Very good, it charges quite quickly.

Screen? is tough! I broke mine tho! but this phone has fell more times than I could imagine before finally giving up!

The Cameras? Are Sharp Quality!! HD resolution!

Speking of resolution did I mention the quality of the LCD? BLOODY AMAZING!

Size? Size is just okay, not too big not too small. depending on your hands. but definitely comfortable to play on for hours!

I expect this phone to have some second hand value. Because it is just damn reliable.

I hope when Huawei reads this, they will send me another phone to try. Ill be happy to try and stretch it to the maximum!

Syncing with computer? The software huawei suite is just okay. it can be better, and not annoying. but just okay.

Another drawback will be the non removable battery. Sometimes despite the huge battery, I dont get to charge always. but when I want to charge I couldnt find power points and that means it would be great if only i could get a spare battery.

Another drawback will be sms, the sms.. if you text someone first at 345678 and then the person replies. the sms system will register +12345678 and thus a different sms file. like one time I was wondering who texted me at +12345678 and when I looked at my sms inbox its the number that I just texted at 345678. So instead of being on the same thread, huawei automatically made it into a different thread

  7. This this phone have haptic feedback like the Note 3 and 4 does when typing (using the keypad) for i.e., texting, etc?

  8. i need a gsm unlocked budget phone. I have a crap lg no name one from tracfone (dont worry about the carrier) that i carry in my left pocket while i carry my ipod 5th gen in my right for everything but calling and texting… im tired of it and want one device very badly. i am looking at some flagship used ones but i really am just looking for the best camera i can get. any recommendations? from anyone?

  9. Got it a month ago. Just switched from phablet to phone after taking some time to think about it. Love the 6" screen size.
