Soft gas pedal? A stretched out throttle cable in a Ford or Mazda can cause that.Take a look at your throttle cable. See if the pedal moves up and down and has “slack”. If so, your throttle might not be opening all of the way so you are not getting full power. If you floor the car the throttle might only be open 80%.
