What’s Inside EricTheCarGuy’s ‘Home’ Tool Box? – EricTheCarGuy

One of THE most requested videos that I get and given that I didn’t have any repair videos recorded I decided to make and post this one as a response to my other video. If you have a video of YOUR tool box feel free to post it as a response to this one, perhaps we’ll get a tool box video collection going.

  1. Good on you for quitting smoking, Eric. I smoke myself, and I agree it sucks too much money out of you when you want to build hot rods and stuff.

  2. If you find a tool under a hood, and you do not return it…isn’t that stealing? I mean you clearly know who the owner is.

  3. The Mac ones look like they are a unitized bit that is blued, I think the snapon ones are chrome socket drive adapters with hardened bits. Mac ones are softer heat treat. -impact driver

  4. 😂 he said my nephew has diabetes lmao that’s the most unsanitary place for it to be not to mention how pointless that actually sounds worse excuse ever you should have edited it out

  5. Great video content! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you thought about – Tarbbatigan Cars Rehabilitation Tip (do a search on google)? It is a great one of a kind guide for learning how to repair your car the easy way minus the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my BF finally got amazing results with it.

  6. Everybody expects professional mechanics to have a phenomenal tool box at home. Inside and out, Eric's tool box looks a lot like my dad's (75) and mine (50). Or at least mine before I got broken into. But I think my dad actually has more tools in his box than Eric does in his. Neither of us are professional mechanics so where Eric can take his personal stuff to his shop, we have to do it all at home.

  7. "Very nice Masterwrench" ERIC TCGuy. You have a small fortune in tool$, you can fix just about anything , tires, tools and titties!…Build a Killer Muscle Car Video!!!

  8. Craftsman was good. Now all, yes all, made in China. Why pay more when plenty of Chinese made with lifetime warrantees? I even asked the Sears tool department employee, got a startled look, and mumbled "I don't know".
Got ripped off as now can't get Craftsman warranty replacement.
Now I buy Armstrong, Mac Tools, Matco, and Wright Tools depending what it is. All are American made with lifetime warranty and far above the quality of even the older Craftsman. Example, for cutters and pliers, Channellock is an amazing value and put mine through hell (including holding for high heat soldering) and have never had any damage other than singed grips. If you look around the internet and ask aircraft mechanics, they all say the Channellock safety wire, aka duck bill, pliers are the best. Snap-On doesn't have the jaws meet flush for peats sake. Everyone working on anything mechanical needs one as more jaw area than needle nose that can limit. Besides, never can have enough pliers. ;p
    Hope this helps.

  9. you got better stuff then i ever had at home, i hated buying doubles so had just complete crap at home. i just had to remember to bring what i needed when i came home for the weekend…. also looks like youre almost to 1million subscribers!

  10. Hey Eric I watched a lot of your videos, I mean a lot I learned a lot from you, but I want to learn more please watch the tool box tour video on my channel, please let me know what tools I'm missing and/or consider getting. Thanks also I just came out of highschool I couldn't really afford college for this field so I just wrote Eric the car guy/Chris fix for college education on the technician application, they bought it and gave me the job. Thanks for giving me free training
