I really liked your video. Well done, good quality, not a hack job like many of the auto repair videos I see on YouTube.

@EricTheCarGuy I missed the dealine for the contest but I wanted to put it up anyways because I had some things to say about your Channel. Thank you so much for the advice you've given me. It's warming up on the west coast too. I've been doing a lot of filming that I have yet to Upload. I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row because some videos will be a part 1, 2, 3 etc. Thanks again for the great videos Eric!

Hello Eric the Car Guy, I was thinking that maybe you could have a " Stay Dirty Day With Eric" and have a special build like a drag car or a racing engine or well any thing you could come up with that would be educational and fun.
Crap, I don't have time to make a video response, now. We got jobs, you know. Making a video is a lot of work (like you don't know that, ha ha). Cool contest, regardless.
@Slam1218 Lot of things come to mind but I'm not sure how the alternator is related. You may have surged the computer or something.

@EricTheCarGuy Thanks Eric… I did just that and it worked! Only now when i gas it, pedal to the floor it barely moves.. maybe 5mph.. im at a loss… No check engine or codes… What could it be…..?
@mrjost55 Try a green one, or better yet get a thong, that would be different. I'm sure if you wore them both you would get all kinds of attention. 🙂
@EricTheCarGuy I see your point. I'm just trying to help you sell more shirts/merchandise. I enjoy your videos, and I think you're great, but those shirts are just not very appealing. I would love to buy a shirt from you that I could enjoy wearing. (just my 2 cents)
@mrjost55 You see I don't think you understand the philosophy of where I was coming from when creating the design, ETCG is a grass roots project and as such knowing about it at this point creates a certain exclusivity, so in much the same vein as Banksy or Shepard Ferry it's meant to be more like a stencil sprayed on a wall in the middle of the city that you look at and go, "what's that all about?"
@EricTheCarGuy What I really meant is that it's not very creative. I would love to wear something that was more abstract with a hidden meaning, than just a banner of your website. Incorporate something that you're known for, I like the "Stay Dirty" slogan. Throw in some car related mechanical objects, such as pistons, wrenches, etc. Spice it up 😀
@Buchoass If it's not intended for the contest then I'm going to pull it as it really doesn't fit in the contest, no hard feelings.

It is up to you if you want to pull the monster truck stunts video.

I cant tell you how many times ive been working on a car in the drive way and i cant figure out what the problem might be. so what do i do i come look at your page and i watch a few videos on the subject the problem is on and u give me the answer. you have saved me so much money and personal time its not funny. your doing great keep it up and as always stay dirty!

@TheGetawayer Maybe eric could make a German one that says "bleibt schmutzig." :-). Maybe even "immer schmutzig". I'm not sure how to translate stay, it's been a while since I learned German.
Hey Eric, your posting some good ish… Im having a problem with my 98 Honda Civic EX. Im getting A p1298 code.. Electronic Load Detector high output, i belive.. I stupidly replace the alternator cause my battery was not getting charged.. Any way, i replaced the ELD and still nothing.. Can you look into that an see what you can come up with? Thanks in advance, Art..
