i have an 01 spyder , its not my fave car by any means . it just fell into my lap. i blew up the stock 1zz . so im debating on a k20 or a 2zz . it does drive ok for struts tho
those pistons probably failed because the ring gap was too small, not because they are cast. Cast pistons will take a lot, if the ring gap is right.
What fucking LS is in that RX7?!?! How is it even possible for a stock LS to put down less than 275hp to the rear wheels?!?

high end lean condition will do that to a piston in one pass……might wanna check o2 reading at high rpm

Always use your lap belt unless you like having your head removed in a bad accident. I never go without it in my cb7.
