Another request that I was happy to fill. You will run into a couple of different configurations on this code for the Honda V6, this in my opinion is the more difficult one as it requirers removing the intake manifold to clean the passage, the newer style just requirers that you remove a plate on the top of the intake and clean out the passages that way, I hope to make a video on that should I run into it again.

  1. You know how I can release the fuel pressure in a 99 Honda Accord V6? I replaced the fuel filter but the pressure is still built up in the engine which causes it to surge while driving. I cant even maintain certain speeds without pressing on the gas.

  2. Doing mine now. Has code 401 and 1709. Acura did have a recall that is now “ Dead” for the 1709. Gear shift sticking. I’m livid because this is not that hard but time consuming and I paid someone to replace all plugs coils and gaskets due to oil leak. Some stuff you just do yourself because having a trusty mechanic or taking to the dealer (Honda will not work on Acura) Acura dealer only. So thanks for this and I’ll post my own as well , not as detailed as yours but if u have a video of the 1709 email it to me. Thanks ERIC 💯💯Aye🎥” the weird thing is my engine light isn’t even on. It was at one time. Went and got another Acura from a friend and had to fix the iacv and v tech solenoid. 5 speed rsx. Broke bolt in the solenoid so I’m out here fixing my baby. 💯💯👋🏼

  3. I don't have any codes but trying to get my gas mileage up so I got new egr valve and o2 sensors. Question is do I need to take the plenum off to replace egr valve? 05 tl 3.2

  4. Eric i have a 03 Acura tl base model and I'm having multiple misfires on all 6 cylinders, so far i have replaced the spark plugs, ignition coils, egr valve and still have the check engine light on not really sure what it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  5. My 1999 Acura TL temp gage goes to about 3/4’s up when my car has stopped and goes back 1/2 way down when I’m driving. I noticed one fan turnes on for about 10 sec and then goes off. What could it be? Please help

  6. Been having a crank no start issue with my 98 Accord. Seems if i tap ego valve it will start. Gonna pull egr off this weekend and give it a clean and possibly pull intake off and clean the passage as well. It’s a 3.0 so I’m assuming it’s same procedure as you did here. Wish me luck!

  7. Just worked for 2002 Accord v6. If you're competent please use Honda 06175-P8C-A01 EGR Pipe Kit as described in the video. 42.00 for aftermarket version kit. Clean from top to bottom ie. Intake port to EGR valve.

  8. I need to do this to my 2001 honda accord. Do you really care to torque the fasteners on at the required torque, or did you just tighten them down a bit?
