  1. The Internet of Things will definitely be the "Next Big Thing". The smart-homes with their smart-appliances and our smart-cars are already here and will just get smarter. Big-data will just get bigger and accessing that data will become easier and more useful through big-knowledge.

    However I don't believe that personal devices that we take around with us, whatever form (phone, glasses, watch, etc) will cease to exist as we will still need to have access to the information, receive notifications and communicate with each other… and probably tracked around so the "Things" can help us.

This is a good thing and I like it a lot but the thing is that we got hackers!… And they could acces everything and ruin the whole system and light stops and it would just be a didaster unless someone creats a super bad ass firewall or something to protect from inavsion and viruses and such and such like that from hackers idk

  3. Global acceptability, accessibility, security and simplicity will be the greatest hurdles of this concept. You see… first world development will not do it as even now many still consider a smart phone a luxury, a toy. 

    Woooww I almost forgot about a Standard. There goes fanboyism! No my hopeful friend. This will take much longer than 5-10 years.

  5. We will be too dependant. Not good. Also we are moving too quickly. We are trying to consume and consume. We are never satisfied. Lastly, I prefer us going in the robot direction, than the Internet of things. There is nothing wrong with devices.

People are not buying wearables as quickly as i had hoped.  NFC payments are taking a while to catch on.  I think 3d Printing will become main stream before wearbles and the internet of things.  I look forward to both.  10 years for the Internet of things, 7 years for 3d printing to be main stream via a majority of libraries and schools.

  7. This makes sense to me. But my father believes in Ray Kurzweil… (Spelling bee level last name).

    I personally don't like the thought of robots in my blood, and I think it's… Silly.

    I think even with the technology the people still carry the power, and the majority won't want this.

They're already putting little black boxes in the cars so they can charge you by the mile and it will be mandated to have it and if that doesn't suck bad enough, you'll have to pay to have it installed! What about the driver-less vehicles their making and what happens when it has a glitch? Human error in building these devices could cost your life and others!
    They'll never do away with these devices! Think of the money they would lose and have you forgot that you use these devices to call people?
    You could do away with all these devices if they will eventually want us to allow them to implant a chip directly in our brain and use contact lens for a display? They already use chips in the brain for people for epilepsy and stop the seizures before they happen, but imagine the pros and the cons? You could be a semi smart with a wifi only or a complete genius being a 4G LTE with a unlimited plan or better! You can always catch a virus and have a melt down or they could send a signal and you're dead!

  9. Hey jayce I wanted to know why all android wear(moto hint/smartwatches /Google Glass.. Ext…) are so expensive? I mean it's supposed to replace our everyday watches and glasses.. Right? Then why make it so unaffordable?

  10. the internet of thing can't do good without quantum computing but if humanity has both  that incredible amount of data could be procest in no time literaly and everything on earth and then in the universe will fill with inteligence and everything including humans into one supreme inteligence 

  11. Im sure this is indeed the right direction ofwhere tech is headed. The worrysome part is, that someone 10,000 miles away can crash an entire network (disable your carbon sensor while you sleep and activate a leak even). Cyber terrorism will grow in proprtion with this brigh future, only problem now is that there is no privacy to hide behind. Its saddly just a matter of time before the first drone is hijacked and used to do unspeakable evils with. Its more important for that future to be safe, than it is to be available tomorrow. Genetic coding should be used to make sure each persons tech is even more difficult to invade.

  13. Well free wi-fi is a start and lowering phone bills are a second. 3rd would be to have tech and education more accessible to everyone threw programs that connect to real world.

  14. Can you do the Next Q & A about 64 bit Snapdragon processors? Is it good? How the Snapdragon 410 better than 400 or 615 than 600? What's the major Differences between 32 bit & 64 bit mobile processors?

  16. Surprisingly, both android and iOS run on Linux kernels. They both run on a Debian kernel. The only OS here that is gonna get left behind is windows, At least on mobile.

  18. Would be faster and easier to just load ourselves into machines and move electronically than moving physically.

      -See that shitty walkman,  in the future our music is stored on a tiny chip the size of your thumbnail!

  21. Information is at our fingertips and almost any question you've ever wanted to know can be answered within seconds. It is making people more knowledgeable. Its evolving mankind into being thinkers. The more knowledge you get, the more questions you ask. I dont know how may times i stayed up all night reading on something that caught my interest. The internet is like that. It pulls you in and feeds your brain as much information as it wants. Its a great thing.

  22. I look forward to holograms popping out of every device I will own in the future.
    I think it will be devices with holographics and then no devices or maybe an ocular implant with private holograms.

  23. I think your spot on. Not sure about the time frame in which we will actually see this though. One major holdback is the costs associated with the wider connected world. The companies that operate things such as ferries and busses will not connect them to the internet unless they see a way that it will improve their earnings, or unless it is absolutely necessary. As for appliances and such, we are already working our way up with more and more connected devices from fridges to washing machines. We are also going to shortly see the birth of autonomous vehicles and car to car communications. This will clear up traffic and accidents from the roadways. All of this new stuff means added costs though. Early adopters of the tech will pay a hefty premium, and even once it has settled in most people will opt to continue using what they have until it either fails or becomes entirely obsolete. My best guess would be that most things will be connected by the year 2030, and all by the year 2050.

  24. I really like the idea of shared technology among everything. It really is scary though… Everyone and everything knows who you are, what you want, when you need it as well as your current location. As far as this Internet of things remains private and only shared within the "devices" and people of my choice I really love it. It will open a new window to everything. It will be the key to people's live's being made easier… But it will also be the key to people becoming stupid. If you create smart enough tech that can do things faster and better than you what is the point of thinking about anything. People in the past used to use their brain to do things but now and in the future this will probably won't be the case. I might be too pesimistic about it and I might even feel this way for no real reason, but this is how I feel, although I feel too much excited for such technology integrated in our lifes. I just believe that we shouldn't take everything for grated. This system allows you to do exactly THAT! I am not saying it will be for the worse, maybe solving all this problems that bombard our minds everyday just will gestures or voice commands or whatever will exist, will give as the ability to express creativity and/or use our brain for other better and more important, previously unexplored aspects of life. With that being said, I believe the world is heading more and more towards something like that you describe on the video and the only thing that will explain or prove if it's good or bad for as in the long run… will be itself… I just hope we are able to judge freely!

  25. Nanite technology. Computers so small they dont need to process alone they can process with others.
    Then they can recieve the internet through their connection to each other and you.
    Think of nanite computers small enough they could be injected into a person and help your blood cells fight infections and illness.
    Then move those quicker to your blader so you pee it away and your good. Or if they bond enough together tgey could form broken parts of bone.
    They could chop out cancer as soon as a cell turns wrong.
    Effectivly curing cancer.
    Then take that to another end of being able to transmit internet to your brain. They feed the info through your system and can show you things using your eyes and smell things through your nose.
    So, small computers.
