13. When this happened to me in Texas , I asked an officer to please unbuckle my seat belt so my hands could remain outside the window in plain sight. One officer entered the passenger side door and unbuckled my safety belt. The other officer kept his weapon on me until the other officer cuffed me. I never attempted to ask questions until they explained my rights and finished explaining what I was being detained for. I honestly believe that my actions calmed the officers down.

This was merely an act of some police officers with an ego trying to force civilians to comply with their orders regardless of the severity of the situation. I am losing faith in law enforcement and afraid that I will be the next victim. Here in the US civilians need the rights not to be feared by police officers over minor traffic issues

I’m going to put my license plate in my window and drive a few more blocks after an officer gets behind me to pull me over, I’ll say I didn’t stop because I’m black and thought he was gonna shoot me. But on GOD if that dude would of just got out the very first time they asked, it litterally would of just been a conversation on how they pulled over the wrong guy or whatever. Like I've had that exact thing happen to me twice and i just got out they told me they were looking for a car that matched the description of mine and how i was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
