CONFLICT OF INTEREST: GOP is still up to it's dirty tricks, and just who did what and when during the month prior to Jan. 6? It seems to me that the "insurrection" was an planned event, and those who helped "conspire", were complicit to the crimes, and are also now on the "voting jury".
How can this be and what could turn it around? I think it's the truth about the "jury" and their participation as "conspirators" should be scrutinized and disclosed. When the Judicial system finds "conflict of interest" in members, they traditionally "recuse" their participation. Why should this be different?

It's a stupid argument. The Constitution plainly states that impeachment can only be leveled at serving Civil Officers. There is no ambiguity. By the Left's reasoning, can we impeach Obama now? How about Bush the Younger? How about posthumously? Can we impeach Grant? Roosevelt. et al…? Like I said, a stupid argument.

Just to be clear. The United States Congress needs to process the impeachment with all due haste. More importantly, sedition and insurrection must be PENALIZED with imprisonment, in order to set a precedence for the HEINOUSNESS of the crime, or capital Offense against the United States.
Bottom Line: The U.S. Congress took a solemn Oath to protect the United States Constitution and the People of the United States of America against TYRANNY. Therefore, it MUST do its current duty of impeachment with haste and THOROUGH RESOLVE. Full Stop.
