  1. Dear Authoprity, pls pls suggest me a phone between Samsung Galaxy j7 vs Xiaomi readme Note3 vs Asus Zenfone 2. Note that, I'm HD gaming oriented & I use a wi-fi router in home. So, wifi, Gaming & 4G etc are important issues for me. Thanx

  2. I really don't have any idea why this guy is attacking Android. In the first minute he claims the 7 year old IPhone does texting, browsing etc and his 3 year old Android phone does not. He didn't even say what the Android phone doesn't do. I use a Galaxy Y S5360 which costs less than $100 and far more inferior than his phone manufactured 4 years ago for those who can't afford mid-range phones. It is true that the phone has bellow par specs but I can use WhatsApp, Viber, Opera Browser with gingerbread 2.2 installed. So, whats this guy talking about ?? I think he's just one of those guys who thinks because he reviews phones that he knows whats going on under the hood.

  3. The bottom line is that Android will never operate as fluid as iOS.. Google is building one operating system that has to work across multiple devices all with there own specs. Apps that's created for android has to work across multiple devices all with there own specs. This is where the problems come. Apple creates their own OS for their own device. You also get bloatware added by Google, the device manufacturer and the service provider. Not to mention every manufacturer adds their own user interface over the OS ie sense, touchwiz etc because they have to make their android device look different from there competitors device. If you had a choice of living in a 5 million dollar mansion with all the amenities and top security but could never leave the mansion as long as you live or being able to party in new York, Miami and Vegas all you want but you could never go home where its safe from the dangers of the streets what would you choose?

  5. Hello! Have you heard about – Banyan Amazing Viral Genie (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got cool results with it.

  6. I get to choose between an Iphone5s and a Note3. I choose the Note3 because of the specs, but the os is really lacking considering with ios.
They should tweak it to work well with any other apps, the phone doesn't lag much, but when you're about to open up an app (I opened pptv), there will be lags and delays. Had an ipad and installed pptv there, hardly lags, just that the internet suck balls.
-Malaysia, where wifi sucks and expensive for no reason.

  7. A first gen iphone? My god that thing must be slow. I end up using my 4s more than my note 3 more often just because it simply does what I need it to. Sure the giant screen is to be a miss and the s pen but at least cydia is a much better option for getting tweaks than androids….oh ya android doesnt have a cydia variant and the play store only offers tweaks in launcher packages. also, apps crash all the time on the note 3. i am used to seeing sorry firefox has crashed this firefox has crashed that. ive never seen that message on the iphone's safari browser. it simply works well. sure the phone has more lag than the note 3 but it still is more pleasant to use for some reason

  8. Scrap Java and you're 80% there. Sort your UI thread priorities and architecture out, and you're another percentage point closer too.

  9. I'm sorry but all of these were really stupid, for starters, that old iPhone runs wells because it runs on an old version of iOs, try running iOs 7 on it, I dare you. Its the same with Android, at least on Android you can choose whether to update or not, and you still get all the good stuff on older versions.

  10. Very interesting intro. Its not going to happen because it will effect samsung's back pocket. It will effect flagship phone sales… people will start going for entry level phones if they work as fast and as smooth as flagship phones.
Motorola G and X on the other hand have fixed this problem. In New zealand for $299 you can get moto G and oh boy its fast.

Nice intro again man. Loved it seriously.

  11. Finaly somene said that… not everyone can aford flagship phones or even get near to them and with what we can get, its true, that as much as it hurts and makes us unsatisfied with our phones, even oldest iPhone is styll better and supported. For example iPhone 4 which is by android standarts (and google 2 years support polici) ancient, gets new ios 7.1 update that actualy make better performance on that device, which is in huge contrast with Samsung, that still doesnt update my galaxy s3 mini with at leas promissed 4.2 android. (they actualy made value edition with 4.2, so we have to pay full price of new phone for update!)

  12. Google should make a timeframe agreement where companies need to update devices from the past year to the newest version of android in a certain time frame in order to still have google play services. This would make companies go faster and more stock android builds.

  13. How can you complain about "having to wake the device" and "unlock it" then select the app and then input that data. Were you short a few points? because inputting data is part of using the app, not a delay in getting to it, thats a different topic. And how can you possibly complain about having to wake and unlock a phone? why dont you just turn screen lock to never and have no password, Problem solved?

  14. I think this was uber unhelpful and I should have trusted my instincts to stop watching when you said that the iPhone ran better than the Note. This could have been a very useful topic had it been presented by the likes of XDA, ColdFustion, MKBHD, or Armando F who actually put a gingerbread phone against the current gen istuff at the time and proved the exact opposite of what you just claimed. I have one question for you… Why don't you have an iphone if it's so fking great.

  15. IOS is simply not as feature heavy as Android is.
We can cut everything down to the bare basics like calling, texting, web, e-mail, and media. All the extra apps from the carrier and manufacturers just weigh the phone down. Just allow the apps to be downloaded through play store as needed, not embeded on the phone. This is why I really like the Nexus 5.

  16. I want to thank you for this is educational video on Android os
And I think you missed one thing Google have to improve main apps such as caller app messaging app Calendar app and note app
Because most of them are confusing, not easy to use and they feel so cheap

  17. Longtime droidy and iphone basher here. I just wanted a SMALLER well-built phone that was PREMIUM.. Android doesnt give us that.(save for the ones I would have to buy unlocked like Sony Z1 Compact) Had a free upgrade and decided to try an iphone 5s, That was a month ago. My GS3 is now sitting in a drawer. Not looking back.

  18. Great video. I completely agree with your first statement it makes no sense that someone should have to buy a flagship Android phone in order to receive the best Android experience it should be equal across all phones no matter if it is a flagship phone or not. Now granted the flagships will always be better in some form but the lower entry phones should still be able to receive the newest features at a reasonable time. All I can say for know is that if you want the best Android experience it seems like you have to get a flagship device so for that reason is the reason why I got my S4 and the reason i will continue to only buy flagship phones. just my own opinion

  19. i hate to say it but every thing is veeeeeeeeeeeery true and some people root their phones so the can install apps that speed up the phone and they end up losing their phone

  20. I use an i9000b with KitKat OmniRom, and I got to say, it does the job. Not "that" reliable because its still nightly build, but still, a 4 yo Android, running the latest version and running it better than ever. Upgrade? Nah, as long as it works and runs last version of software!
