  1. I agree totally. he helped me for sure.. I could not figured it out.. It is a free help.. why some people are so hateful.. I don't understand..

  2. THANK YOU! Save me from a panic. I appreciate the video. And BTW, the design of the battery enclosure is a red herring and leads you to think that you must use the little grip indentation on the lower back to remove the cover. Poor design. Thanks again.

  3. Who is dumb enough to like this? Seriously? Clearly not all batteries had the "pull" tab or it came off. Mine didn't and it is pretty hard to get the battery out without it. What a dipshit this dude is. I hope when I'm fat (his hands are like sausages!) and 40 I have better things to do with my life than this douche.

    P.S. Credit card works perfectly.

  4. People just don't feel 100% secure with a flimsy tab and don't want to break it.

The Droid X2 says: <- Battery Release. Just the video just provides some peace of mind that pulling is actually the right thing to do. No need to get douchy and says "PULL SMARTASS"

  5. Oh great. Now I've got the phone telling me that my SD card is blank or has unsupported file system. I tap on it and it says "Are you sure you want to format the SD card? All data on your card will be lost". Like my pix and videos I've recorded? I remember formatting the card when I got the phone a couple of weeks ago. Guess I'll remove it and re-install it again now. Sigh.

  6. Thank you. I was worried that I might break the stinking phone if I messed with it too much. Why Motorola doesn't offer a tutorial video for basic phone operation is beyond me. Hell, maybe they do with one of the apps but the people @ Verizon pretty much sent me out the door telling me to figure it out.

  7. @ezikah i think the same thing might have happened to you that happened to me. the person who sold me the phone put the tab under the battery.

  8. thanks a lot for this vid i was very confused. and before anyone says 'it was so obvious" it's not when the salesman that put the battery in the phone when you first get it puts the tab under the battery.

  9. first thing i did was yank that yellow tab off…. now i have to slam my droid x to get the battery out.

  10. huh, the black stick thing on the bottom where the tab actually is was removed and stuck on a piece of paper that came with the box. No wonder why i couldn't remove my battery.

  11. I'll be happy to make a battery pull app for those who really needs one. When you click on it it'll say: "pull the yellow tab dumbass!". Or: "hahaha, you're too dumb to own this phone, get an iPhone instead." It'll only be $1.99 and I know from reading these comments I'm going to be rich!!

  12. If you can't get the door off (like I couldn't), put on latex gloves for grip and WHOOP, off it comes!
