Great phone.
Love the design. But lets look at the bottom : space for microphone, then space for logo, then space for screen buttons, this is pretty ugly and make the 5' screen a 4'8 or 4'7 when surfing or watching vids ?
Hope next LG G3 will be metal…

Best looking and best funtioning (htc's software is really a lag free experience the only one with pure nexus concerning the android) android phone. Also the best sounding. Im gonna buy it plain and simple

Bad camera!!! Google comparison of photos between HTC M8 & iphone 5s and nokia 1020! You can really see that HTC takes the worst photos.
Looks poorly built, edges around the camera lens seem poorly cut and fit and camera lens is already scratched.
I saw a take apart video of the M8 and on the inside is full of copper duck tape and glue – like a cheap Chinese XYZ brand generic phone.
ONLY LOOKS `PREMIUM` BUT OVERALL BUILT QUALITY IS POOR + POOR CAMERA PREFORMANCE – I`ll pass and wait for a samsung S5!
Phenomenal phone…replaced my M7 (which was scary because it was great)…and this is astoundingly better. Plus, the smart dot case makes it even better. Love it and highly recommend it!

Yes , finally one of the big downsides of this phone was totally removed !
It has mircoSD card slot now , AWESOME !!
But what about the battery ? – can i remove the battery if i wish to ?
Overall , i see many great improvements , this is nearly the "perfect" smartphone (for me at least) 🙂

we need a m8 vs s5 review. i am on verizon and wonder what is gong to be better for a camera?
This is the first review that even mentioned the headphone quality improvement. I only use external speakers when i don't give a shit about the sound quality coming out of the phone's external audio. Even the best possible external speakers such as these will never be practical over headphones which is why it is kind of frustrating that when people are finally turning their attention to audio quality as a feature, it is in the wrong direction.
3:10 the camera lens is severely scratched, i hope that's the protection plastic and not the actual lens!
