Lol only 6 flops my moto droid could do that on stock speed… i could get 10-12 with 800 mhz rom
You cant turn off sense by using a different launcher. Only way to get rid of it is to use a different ROM such as Cyanogen 6.
I hope there is an option similar to this that allows one to disable the "Blur lite" UI on the Droid X when it launches. I am a fan of Vanilla Android OS myself, and I think that would be a good selling point for the Droid X.
My Evo is running 6.324 MFLOPS with HTC SENSE running. No point in turning it off.
@pyroguy5432 its funny you mention it, i just stumbled upon that earlier and have been using it since. i agree, the grey bar can be a bit ugly

btw look up retro clock widget, its a flip style clock
@infin1ty i think the point he was trying to make was against the people saying that sense is slowing the phone down.. which im sure was true for older/slower android phones
@pyroguy5432 you can just remove that widget.. i want to find a slimmer flip clock style widget that doesnt display the weather

@acquaz10 It's disabled on the Incredible. HTC thinks you will like it, so like it. You don't have a choice.
Some people just don't like the Sense UI, me being one of them. Is my own personal opinion really that big of a problem?
only thing good about this is the app drawer thing looks alot better….if they got the regular android photo album,that would have been good too…but i hate vanilla android now that i got a htc hero,i cant go back
only the dumb fucks that think there going to be cool will turn it off. be like "hey im one of thoes fags that can be differant and turn off sense"… but why would you. if you want a fast phone buy one of the first phones that ever came out. all they do is make phone calls. and might have the game snake on it. i mean for real are you that really that dumb?
why turn off sense for what a quater of a second faster web jezz thats stupid and battery life doesnt get used that much but if it does for you buy a extra batery fr 40 bucks and plop it in
Coming from an incredible and Evo owner. The evo tends to be slow for some reason and it goes crasy when I run multiple apps which pisses me the fuck off lol . But Incredible runs much faster and smoother when I run the same apps I did on the evo . Hope froyo fixes those problems on the evo .But untill then the incredible is much faster.
Sense is for any Android if its on the app market?
