Commonly dubbed one of the worst cars in history – this little 1988 Yugo has been repurposed to become one HELL of an ice-drag car! With a 5.3L V8 swapped in, and a few thousand screws added to the tires – this 2500lb economy car is flying through the 1/8 at over 100mph! ON ICE! Not bad for a car that made 45hp from the factory..

Probably one of the most unimpressive cars I've ever seen. I have an 87 Yugo GVX that is so light I can pick it up off the ground and if I was taller I could throw it on its top. I have no idea how light it is but with the stock iron block 4 banger it came with and 100 shot of nos it would run low 8's in the 1/8. With a 5.3 this car should need wheelie bars. I don't get why it's so slow and so heavy..

Great job guys, im very glad when i see Yugo tuned, because that was our national brand. Cheap car with fiat technology, new car for 3999usd. For my parents and their generations that was great car…we have lot of nice memories with it. Regards
