  1. as much as I loved the idea of 4inch touch screen when they first came out in the market……. I personally hate the idea of any screen bigger than 4.7inch……waiting for the day when mobile companies come up with compact phones with the best specs in today's date……

if there is any such phone already in the market plz suggest….

  2. Hey @Jayce Broda I am having a problem with my nexus 7 (2013).The battery is draining too fast. Can you tell how to stop this.It is currently on android 4.4.2.Thanks in advance.

  3. hey @Jayce Broda you're the man!! on to my question, what does disabling the android system do and is it bad for the phone? I wanted to do it to squeeze more battery out of my android but i want to know if it is a safe option

  4. I've been looking for a good, waterproof case for my Moto x.  Because it is a less than mainstream phone the choices are slim.  If you know of one I would greatly appreciate you telling me of it.  Thanks, love the series.

  5. Hey @Jayce Broda . So next gen gpus and cpus(snapdragon 805 and tegra k1) have been announced, is the Nexus 5 still worth buying? I'm thinking to buy it but I'm afraid that it will be outdated very soon after devices start getting next gen hardware. Plus, do you think Galaxy S5 will also have next gen CPU and GPU?

  6. Great Q&A videos! Nice to hear Kris is back. I wanted to ask you feel it would be safe to use a third party battery case? I'm a proud owner of an HTC One and would like one for back up for longer trips. Wish there was one like the One Max. Thanks Jase!

  7. Battery monitors – Personally, I use Battery Solo Widget for my tablets/Samsung phones. Not too much of a 'monitor' (doesn't tell me what's sucking the battery) but it does help me keep an eye on how much power is left.

However, I have the 'Circles' widget on my Motorola Photon Q, and I LOVE it. It eliminates the need for the Accuweather and Battery Solo Widget apps. Only downfall? It's only on the newer Motorola phones, unless you find the apk files for it.

  8. I use Energy Bar when I'm using a launcher and don't want the status bar to show and BatteryBot when on default launcher. The apps in the description look interesting. I think I'll try them later.
I love this segment. I'm always finding new stuff to try.

  9. I've been really impressed with the Trident AMS series of cases. I have a Kraken for my Note 3 and love all the the accessories they have. I just recently ordered a matching case for my Note 10.1 (2014) as it looks to be equally up to the task protection wise and they have some great accessories for it as well.

  10. @Jayce Broda Not sure if you have that right about carrier locked Nexus 5. I bought mine from Best Buy (who only carries a "Sprint" version) and haven't had any problems on AT&T. They did remove the SIM card extractor and the original literature, though 😕.

  11. Hi Jayce.. I have been using Note 3 (exynos ver) the only thing that bother me, is when we play games like COC for a long time, my phone begins to overheating.. Then it starts to lag, framedropping a lot. How can this happen? I have updated the latest ver of kitkat.. Really apreciate your answer. Thx

  12. hey jayce, i recently got a tablet which is basically unknown to most people and im wondering if there is a case for it, its a Ainol Novo 7 Venus. and if there is a case could you please send me a link? @Jayce Broda @Android Authority

  13. Can you recommend a Nice not flip cover case for the HTC One please that keeps the phone as this as posible but also protect the corners
    Thanx

  14. Hi Jayce, need your advice on the following, I recently bought a Nexus 5 along with the original bumper case. I am averse to using screen guards hence not using any, but a lot of people are warning that over time the screen sensitivity would go down due to smudges, dust etc. is this true? in your view are screen protectors really a must or are they overrated? please help. BTW your vids are really good and informative two thumbs up

  15. Hi Jayce,
Is it possible to put T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling onto an unlocked phone? Preferably without rooting, but if I have to it's fine. I was thinking about a Moto G but it doesn't have this feature, and if I could put it on, it would make my decision a lot easier.
    Thanks,
    Me.

  16. Come on this is Android Authority, please don't spread inaccurate information. The nexus 5 is not locked to T-mobile. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A LOCKED NEXUS 5.

  17. Jayce. Need help to look for best app that can simultaneously update status to FB, Twitter, G+, linkdn etc. Used to use Jift but they taken down the app so I left wondering since some app can only post to 2 social networks but usually missing G+. Please help. Thanks

  18. Jayce (or anyone that can give me a good answer), next month around the 20th I am getting a new smartphone. What phone would you recommend and why?

  19. Need help please! Bought unlocked motox from Motorola received today.I have Note 3 with att carrier. ..was told I could simply remove sim card from note and put in moto but sim card is BIGGER and will not fit. Also the Moto came with a Team Mobil sim card in it? Can anyone help me offer advice? The sim card in the Moto was referred to as a mini sim card. Please if someone could help Thank You.

  20. Lolol why would you buy a galaxy tab 3 10.1 … Wow xD 350$ for something with a terrible display and outdated specs … For this price you can buy a LG G Pad g play which is so good a Tab Pro 8.4 best specs and best display on a tablet right now.. Damn a nexus 7 that costs 230$ is better .. Sammy overpriced this tablet .. But marketing and shit..

  21. It's impressive how you read all comments. People are really mean behind the keyboard, I'd get depressed if they were for me =P
On another topic, what do you think of Asus' androids?
