  2. How many people saw the messed up gasket before he fired it up? He literally had his hands on the filter and didn't see it???

  3. I feel ya with the pitbike tyre's 😂 me and my mate spent hours in the shed to mount 4 coloured tyre's that were easily 10 years old

  4. I've done this before someone took off the old one and the O-ring stuck to the motor and then reinstalled the new one eventually the oil pressure pushes out the one that stuck on the motor and it leaks like crazy like that

  5. you did an mistake, you should have put normal oil first in, like a 5w-30 before you fill up completly with 20w-50.

    so that the oil pump can suck in the 20w-50

Right at 6:15 you can see the OBVIOUS sign of a filter O-ring that isn't seated properly…no doubt the filter was fitted by an idiot that didn't lubricate the surfaces between the filter o-ring and the engine block and it got bunched up…. why they don't make it illegal for non-mechanics to work on cars…. sigh……

  7. What were you thinking driving a stock car on a track? :)) You know factory cars are not built to handle that type of abuse, most cook the oil or worse something gives and you lose your warranty (which btw does not cover track use). Thats why we modify our cars, so we can abuse them harder

  8. Have seen many oil leaks at the dealership being caused by the old oil filter gasket sticking around after an oil change using motorcraft oil filters. Always good to check to make sure it’s not there after every oil change. Unless you have the dealership do it and they may do it every time. Lol no kidding. Lube techs/oil changers don’t get paid very well so they don’t do their job very well either most of the time

  9. Oil filter was overtightened or not lubed when installed. Not a design issue. Not a warranty issue unless Ford installed the filter. Whoever changed your oil last didn't know what they were doing.

  10. Oil filter has exact same problem as your facial hair – operator error. Word of advice – if you can’t figure out how to remove the stone tray from your car then leave the wrenching to someone more qualified, like your mother. She could probable weigh in with some advice on the lip fluff situation too….Mum’s are great like that.

  11. im only at 6:50 but I am betting the oil filter has 2 rubber gaskets vs just 1. I had that happen on my ol' 69' bronco. Sprayed oil everywhere..Seems same as this car. The 2nd seal was left from the old oil filter when oil was changed previously. Attention to detail.

  12. The spin on filter wasn’t the problem, it was probably a defective gasket or they didn’t lube the gasket up which can cause it to seal weird. That’s not a common problem for those filters
