Moto X vs Samsung Galaxy S4

After looking at the Moto X against its closest competitor, we put it in a battle that many people believe to be pretty one sided. Josh takes us through why thinking so might be a little too hasty. It’s the Moto X up against the Samsung Galaxy S4.

  1. The biggest problem with the Moto X upon release was the price. It was overpriced for what was being offered. I waited until I could get one for $200.

But on top of that, if you're an average consumer and you go into a Verizon or AT&T store, the salespeople don't know anything about phones like this and will direct you away from it. In fact, when I went into an AT&T store to ask some questions about the Moto X, the guy didn't even know about it's special features; he had to look it up on his tablet. Then he suggested that I get an iPhone.

  2. Alot of people look at this and say that the S4 will always beat a small device like the moto x, they know that Samsung pre-installs alot of apps on their phones and wait until they get the phone, use it for a while and build more data on it. As many Samsung users say that after a little bit of time they start to get a noticeable lag in the touchwiz and phone itself. THEY WILL WISH THEY HADN'T LEANED TOWARD THE BIGGER SCREEN AND SPECS DIFFERENCE IN THE 1ST PLACE! 😁😜

  3. Chicken review. Just like…..Ford is good got four wheel at least a car from point to point but only Toyota is a lot more reliable, safer, less gas consumption…,etc 😈 BS novelist.

  4. I am using the Motorola Moto X. I NEVER experienced noticeable lag. I use it for texting, e-mailing and playing games like Temple Run 2 and Despicable Me Minion Rush. I think it is because Samsung Galaxy S4 is pretty bloated due to TouchWiz. I never spotted any pixel on the screen, holding the phone about one foot away from my face. The Galaxy S4 is loaded a lot of (mostly pointless) features that make the processor go a lot slower. The Moto X however has a small set of great features. The features that could slow down the processor have an own dedicated core.

  5. Hmmm, I really don't know what to get!! I think that the only downfall for the s3 is that it has been outdated by more samsungs. I managed to find these two phones at the same price as eachother… I love bigger phones and I also love Samsung, but something is crying out to me that the Motorola is really good too!!! Ahhh! I think either phone is a best bet for me I think! for £17 a month it is a bargain! 🙂 thanks for the review bro!! 😀

  6. "OK GOOGLE NOW"  "OK DOODLE NOW!"  "OK STRUDEL COW"  "OK POODLE COW" "DONKEY POODLE COW" They all work . . . not sure about the last one though 🙂 it might  . . .

  7. I was reading a review on heavy bench marks vs the S4 and the Moto X won all bench marks except 2. In many cases it was faster than the s4. I traded my G4 for this phone and it awesome.

  8. I absolutely love my Moto X. It's easily the most accessible and user-friendly phone I've ever used. Plus active display and touchless control are great features. It may not have the specs and benchmarks of a top-tier phone, but it certainly runs like one. Plus the Moto Maker adds that little bit of charm and personality other phones can't compete with. Overall I'm quite happy to switching back to Android.

  9. Moto X vs Samsung Galaxy S4 Really i think they should never do another video about them two phone anymore!! The GS4 is just way to much for the Moto X yeah Moto X is a  nice phone but just don't stand against any new Galaxys starting since Samsung drop the GS3 that's just how i feel.

  10. The moto x actually isn't using a cpu from last year. It has krait 300 cores just like the snapdragon 600. It also has ddr3 ram like the 600. The the s4 pro from last year had ddr2.

  11. I think I am pretty much sold on the moto x it also just had a price cut for 49.99 for the 16 gig version and 99.99 for the 32 gig version. Will get the white 32 gig next month most likely. I am coming from an iPhone 4 so the screen will be perfect for me.

  12. I really like my moto X it is really easy to use and it works very fast and I never feel as though I am going to drop it I love the colors I have chosen also
