  1. I have been reading on some forums that turning off NFC improves the battery life considerably, and don't forget to enable the battery save mode. The Sony website officially rates battery life at just over 6hrs viewing a 1080p movie, so that is what you can expect I guess. Mine arrives next week so I'll find out soon.

  5. lol i must agree with u then, hows the battery life ? and do u think its worth trading my htc one for the z1 or just wait for the next htc flagship

  6. yeah i have the same problem, i believe its the internet connection. ive only watched youtube videos using 3g and its livable, but on wifi its just as good as on a computer. Might be better using 4g connection but not sure ah well

  14. Can somebody tell me if you can finally create folders on the menu list? That really bugged me about the xperia series.

  15. yeah i had the experia z, and now have just got the Z1, and wow, let me tell you, it is ever so much better in all areas by a million miles, really, its that much better.

  22. can you use a pencil as stylus? and less importantly but a cool feature sony has in previous devices, double tap to unlock?

    POOR service support….
    In case of any minor problems also, They used to exchange the whole phone buy paying 60% of the phone amount

    Buy apple or samsung GOOD SERVICE SUPPORT

  26. Think speakers and call quality are basics that all the above 3 premium manufacturers have set great standards in already.

    It's the other stuff ie screen size, UI, individual features (s-pen/water-resistance etc) that makes it tough to decide.

  30. Your English is terrible. The UI on the Z Ultra and Z1 are not laggy at all. I was fortunate to be able to test a Z Ultra and a Z1 a friend of mine own, and they were fluid and smooth running smartphones. They also have a premium feel that Samsung simply cannot match with plastic, glass and more plastic.

  33. Same here.. I can't decide which one I will get. Iphone 5s looks nice with new camera and fingerprint thingy, but too small screen. Note 3 awesome actually, but not sure I would like it. In the other hand Sony untrustable.. not sure if they support their costumer, how is call quality, how is speakers etc…

    This is a Note 3 vs iPhone 5S argument.

    HTC One is too big a phone with a miserly 4.7" display. I hate huge bezels.

  39. you know the htc one may have a gold version as well, and trust if you like the note you'll feel restricted after a few days of usage of the 5s. And you will hate the tiny screen. With the htc one you can get the gold colour and retain most of the most features since its android. And honestly if you discount opinionated feature sets, the htc one and the iphoen 5s is more or less equal, better screen on the one, better camera on the 5s, speakers vs finger print scanner, and the one is cheaper.

Z1 looks great (I had the Xperia Tablet Z a few weeks ago—amazing piece of engineering that, but I returned it cuz I couldn't justify the price considering my lack of use since I already had the Note 2). However, the camera thing is the main that stands out. Rest is tbh sorta meh for me. That's why I skipped on the S4 as well. The S-pen and 3GB of ram and the larger screen are standout features for the Note 3.
    I'm leaning towards the iPhone 5Stho for some reason. Just love that Gold. Time 4 chg?
