Battling the blues of basement 10’s, Andrew has been aiming to break the barrier into the stock bottom end RB-26 record! Seeking out the true potential of this RB platform, this engine has been gradually pushed harder and harder while Andrew has kept his fingers crossed! I knew he could get in the 9s if he didn't care about the stock bottom coming apart. At our local track I've seen a stock shortblock/ported head/HKS cam/PPG gearset R32 go 9.93 @142 79F ambient 290ft DA on a 761whp tune. The weekend following this pass the engine popped during a dyno session after making 811whp (DJet 248 SAE) but they are capable. The owner now runs a 2689cc RB on a 6766 billet wheel from PTE and runs a 10.50 bracket very successfully.
What makes the GTR so damn special is that when the corners come it still dominates. #RIP Supra
