You can always root sense version of htc one and install cm10.2 and get the same feel of stock android

The HTC One Google Play Edition did kept Beats Audio. It's sill there under audio options in the setting menu

Didn't he say that you can get a black version but the silver is the only one available through Google Play Store? I have a question that maybe you can enlighten me on. Is there some kind of catch to buying the black ones, outside of the Google Play Store? Does it make a difference?
This is making me reconsider rooting and flashing the GPE ROM on my One. I just don't feel like dealing with the problems or having to flash every couple of weeks for a new release to iron out bugs. That got annoying rather quickly on my old GS2.
And what's with the buttons?

Amen for the Google Version. Should I say divine. This is better than chasing ROM devs in the xda-developers and ending up finding for more. This Google-ized version surely hit me with a sweet punch.
