Firefox OS First Look!

It looks like more and more people everyday are looking to compete with the Android operating system by making their own. The Mozilla Corporation is bringing their vision of an OS to devices, unsurprisingly called the Firefox OS. Let’s see how it looks.

  1. Hey Firefox u are doing great 🙂 take the entire low budget market which is below 180$ and This strategy will definitely will work out for you. I'm gonna support Firefox by buying this device from them 🙂

  2. What do you mean by "low devices"?
I mean, today I bought an Alcatel Onetouch Fire with Firefox OS and well I have an iPhone too and to be sincere I prefer the one with the Firefox OS.
The phone is super fast, really cool, and keep your privacy safe (I really love the "Do not track" option) Really I will sell my iPhone.

  3. I don't think that just a single device (Moto G) is going to make a difference in the low end market.Firefox is designed to run on low end devices whereas Android is some what for intermediate devices. So if Android is going to come out to challenge in low end marker it needs some big changes in its software.

  5. but that just means the device has no actual out-of-the-box value. P.S: my iPod touch (4th gen) didn't survive jailbreaking

  6. Actually you could jailbreak IOS but only really people who are not afraid of braking there iPhone or iPad jailbreak *Jailbreaking Not Restricted Not locked down and Exploited IOS

  7. True. But I would love to see this come onto more powerful phones in the future. With the current state of Android, Google is holding the keys to the platform. Yes Android is still open source, but the apps that we all take for granted, like the entire Google suite is closed. No one wants an android phone without the Google functionalities.

  8. . sO even though i can afford a decent smartphone, i like how fFos worksso for me it is a competitor top android

  9. android phones r cheap~ and better than forefox/ next BIG thing is UBUNTU smartphones ~ ..its better than android ../

  10. 1. iOS is a stupid restricted, locked down and cumbersome operating system.
    2. This is a small budget OS, its not supposed to compete with Android, Windows and iOS, though it does do a good job on shitting on iOS though XD

  11. Because of this OS anyone can easily connect on the web specially those users that have low-end or old model devices…great…
