This firefighters are too slow to respond
I think this wreck highlights the uncertainty of airbag deployments in certain types of vehicles. The side airbags SHOULD HAVE deployed in a wreck this severe. Hyundai’s are actually known for their lack of airbag deployment in crash tests. If you watch some crash tests, you’ll see that most cars’ side airbags deploy. Many older model Hyundai’s do not receive good crash test ratings due to the side airbags failing to deploy. They make a huge difference in accidents, and this women could’ve possibly been injured a lot less if the airbags functioned properly.

I just retired as a firefighter/medic and just wanted to say how impressed I was with this crew. They communicated well and adapted immediately to an alternate method. Well run extrication by a well trained crew. Nice !

I’m surprised they don’t have battery operated rescue tools. Hooking up a hydraulic pump takes too much time IMO. When our department switched we noticed precious time saved when seconds counted

I'm from the UK and a lot of people don't realise that firemen/women 👍 do a lot of crash extractions….also the pay and conditions the UK firepersonel have to deal with is disgusting..when I was a kid I'm 50 firefighters when we saw them driving through our village they would get the full rock star treatment they'd be anything like 20/60 kids all running alongside the truck and yes a couple of times they'd out the blues and two's on… support the GRT work these men and women do…
