Glad I got the n7100 lte is a battery drainer anyway! I did a speednet test with my hspa+ note 2 beside my buddy's lte i5 and he only got 1meg higher in speed. Not a big deal to me, even he was shocked

Stupid question but when i get the note 2 LTE on the 15th and it turns out that EE is to expensive for 4G data plans could i still use it for 3G?
We were talking about phones. The LTE network launched in 2009 was not for phones, but usb dongles. Phones came later. Just a reminder: Sweden and Norway are awesome countries, with awesome people in them, but they are not all of Europe. It is true that Europe still doesn't have LTE, with a few exceptions like some country in Scandinavia and Germany. UK is preparing to launch the service, and other countries will follow suit. And yes the speed difference is about 10 times that of 3G.
So is LTE a better version?
Why give advice to someone, when you obviously have no clue what you're talking about? First of all you are exaggerating the 4G/LTE speed at the same time as you are understating the speed of 3G. Europe, or at least Sweden and Norway, were the first countries in the world with a fully operational LTE/4G-network (14th december, 2009) through the Nordic telecom operator TeliaSonera. Phones (in Sweden) that works well with 4G are Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE, LG OPTIMUS TRUE LTE, SONY XPERIA V and more…

Prblly not LTE. LTE is just reeeeeaaally fast internet on your phone. Anyways, the US is still getting LTE and its not available everywhere here.

Much much much faster download speeds. If you're into videos or music or browsing the internet you know that a faster connection is always good. If a normal connection is about 4Mb/s on 3G, on LTE 4G you can get 40, 50 or sometimes 70Mb/s. So more than 10 times faster. You definitely want that in your phone.
The catch is it's basically for few markets, like the USA or South Korea. If you're european no LTE for you, yet.
