In Sweden it’s not uncommon to put an engine in what ever car you got and make it work. At an airfield event hosted by LandRacing we found a couple of gems we liked! How about a 2JZ swapped Volvo 242 or a rear wheel drive Honda CRX powered by a turbocharged inline six cylinder BMW engine?!

Just imagine if they could contain the power put to those wheels. And the old guard still clinging to V8 power. I may be old but at least I know that its not displacement its how efficient you can put power to the wheels while keeping the wheels on the ground.

i want to start a project, use a crx as the platform. take the whole car and make it like a go-kart, use a k24 mid-mounted rwd.
an all tubular exoskeleton design, all opened just with a windshield. target weight under 1600lbs.
carbon fiber bucket seats without fabric or leather, seats will have small points of synthetic sponge to help with cushioning, so the car is weather proof.
it will looked something close to the honda prototype 2&4. you might ask why even bother with a crx, well it's easier to register when u have a vin, so i will still register it as a crx. anybody want to jump on this project with me?
