He Put a CHEVY Motor in a PORSCHE (And it FITS!)

This guys *somehow* swapped an LSx Cadillac Escalade motor inside this rear mount engine bay of this Porsche and showed up to The Shop Inc’s No Prep series with it! What would you do if your Porsche’s engine blew up, and it cost over $5,000 for another USED motor?! Probably what any gear-head would do…SWAP IT with something BETTER! That’s exactly what this guy did, and now he has a car with MORE power, MORE cylinders and less/cheaper maintenance! Good thinking! This guy even went one step further and added nitrous to this V8 engine to push it down the track even FASTER! This rear wheel drive, rear mounted engine Porsche with it’s LS engine is now the ultimate sleeper!

  1. It looks like a sensible way to own and enjoy a 911; go fast but not go broke I bet it puts a hole shot on about anything Or it would with grippy tires

  2. ok.. am i the only one who wants to take a 944 and do a crazy 2jz swap vs lsx? dont get me wrog the lsx is great.. but its overplayed. the way i see it.. keep domestic with domestic and import with import. and as for the 944 either a 2jz or an RB25dett

  3. No purist here, but that's shit you don't do on that kind of car.
Nonsense at it's finest. More weight. Ruined valuable car. added more weight behind the line of rear axle, which will make it handle like shit. And last but not least, wasted a lot of work… meh… totally dislike from every perspective, technical, practical, engineering…
But if he likes it, fuck it. It's his car.
