The Unicorn C5 is BACK after many late nights, broken parts and any kind of delay you can think of…Murphy’s law is in full effect on this project. As you saw, this project was going very according to plan and actually made 980hp on this same dyno a couple weeks ago until the curse fell upon the Unicorn C5! Building a twin turbo C5 Chevrolet Corvette is no easy feat, especially when you’re trying to tuck turbos down into the engine bay of a C5 Corvette which is already a tight fit already! And as with any project car, problems arise which ultimately causes delays. Fortunately, we were able to fix up this twin turbo C5 Unicorn Corvette and FINALLY get it on the rollers!

Thanks for being patient waiting for this update! It's been a long 3 months but we're back! The car actually made 22 more horsepower a few weeks ago but we missed putting that in this video, we'll include it in the next update and we plan to turn her up just a liiiittle more after we get it dialed in at the track and race Cleetus but we've ran out of time for now! You should tour the Museum of American Speed, part of Speedway Motors. The parts department also have fully automated parts pickers too, depends how busy they get.
Horsepower doesn't mean shit if you don't know how to drive and your car don't hook up period. What cracks me up how you're at the drag strip all the God damn time time and yet you still know nothing about drag racing or how to build a real drag car, sad but all so true.
