Okay so 8 times 13 million equals 104 million cases. Divide that into 266,000 deaths times 100. That equals a death rate of only .25%. That means a survival rate of 99.75%. Remember, that is only if you get covid-19. Pretty good odds!

Retired nurses and doctors shouldn’t have to Sacrifice their lives themselves and die for people Who advocate to not shut down, called it a hoax or say it’s over exaggerated. As an RN myself I am not counting on retired doctors and nurses coming to work in a system that has not put healthcare worker first since day one. It has been a very long year, and thank you is not enough. it doesn’t clean up my $30,000 hospital deductible and medical debt from when I caught Covid in early spring. I am only 40 and my only medical history was asthma. I continue to go to work every day as an RN and watch my own heart rate hit 161 walking up a short flight of stairs. Everyone needs to understand every retired nurse or Doctor Who comes back to work will more than likely die taking care of people who shouldn’t be overwhelming the hospitals in the first place.It is one thing to get sick and die while we are caring for sick patients during a pandemic. It is a completely different thing our Government and citizens to continue to expect nurses and doctors to die for money in peoples bank accounts and in state and government funds. I guess it’s easier to sacrifice healthcare workers lives And watch us fall into bankruptcy from medical debt than it is to tell big banks they can’t collect any debt or interest for the next six months.
