There is a study called PHARMACOGENOMICS it is how medications effect the individuals DNA. Example, some studies have shown the anti-hypertensive medication ACE inhibitors is not as effective on black patients than white, and in some cases have worse cardiac outcomes. This means a medication, including a "immunization" will not react the same in all people. It also means more time is needed to study it and more "willing" test participants.
